That spot in a monastery finally open up?
-
sheesh, Wend! Share the love with a link at least!

thoughts and prayers, buddy. Glad to hear things are progressing positively.

how does it compare to cooking with gas. It looks great I am sure, but is it still prone to hot spots and burning, like electricity? of course. edited to add: I admit that I am a sick and snobby freak when it comes to kitchens.

agreed on both counts. It would be great to have a reminder of her and be able to give something back to a cause she cared about so strongly. I freely admit that I can't stop thinking about her. I hope she is happy, knows peace, and can see just how much she was loved.

While it's not an appliance, I can't live without sharp knives, preferably japanese. oh, and this...... http://www.subzeropro48.com/ believe it or not, I like eating foods cold or at room temp. well, some.... now, that said, I know ppl who only care about coffee makers. freaks.

Welcome back, Scott!

I am not sure what to say. Like some others that have posted, I never met Shannon. That said, sometimes you come across someone whose spirit is undeniable and you KNOW that they live the way they post, with joy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to life that is beacon for everything good that comes from living life to the fullest. I can honestly she was one of the people I was most looking forward to meeting when I finally am in a position to "make the rounds" on the boogie circuit. the bluest of skies, forever!

I know, to each his (or her) own.....but I don't get it. Not only do I think she isn't attractive, throw in her "talking" and I am looking for the door. *shrug*

World Cup Soccer is amazing. Wish ppl would just give it a chance. Also agree with Rasta about ESPN. It always bugged me about Bob Costas ragging on the winter olympics cause nobody from the US cared. Oh sure, what else can we short-sightedly invalidate in a nanoseconed. faves......USA and Greece. unfortunately, the Greeks lost to Albania and didn't even qualify. My dad and I are still messed up over that game.

Did everyone love Hendrix, Dylan, or Stevie Ray Vaughan? No. Were they superb artists? Most experts say yes. just to be clear......are you including Taylor with this group?
-
Virginia who? Finally, something actually funny. I kid, I kid....
-
Clay, you REALLY need a rap clip for this post.
-
thoughts and prayers to you both.

I have to say that I just don't like Taylor. He has heart but not much talent and he knows how to work it better than she does. Now, all that said, Taylor is as good as he will ever be while Mcphee will get better at everything just because she has more base talent. IMHO

I used to jump with a group that filled the plane for a team on our DZ. It was pretty tight that it was a skeleton crew with no crowds......yeah, rock starish. I like that.

being greek, my foray into the restaurant business was quite possibly a genetic requirement. spent time editing video and film archivist while going to graduate school. taught film studies and media literacy for three years before slowly transitioning into real estate. When I bought my second home I was discussing issues with realtor about my then current job and she thought I would be great and that I would groove on the flexibility. but hey, what's a 16 hour day between friends, right?

someone sent this to me last week and it was pretty good, especially the transitions. It's pretty long though. watch it while eating lunch at work.

I had TWO clients within a week back out of deals after the General Home Inspection. They weren't bad houses, ppl just got freaked and were afraid of buyer's remorse. Too bad, too....they were both great houses.....and a nice chunk of change.
