I hope you have taken into consideration that bright-ass headlights can, and do, blind oncoming drivers...regardless of the type of vehicle they are driving. My bike can travel at some pretty extreme speeds, I need all the light I can get, the further the better. Interstate and 8 lanes. (Lake Shore Drive at Grant Park to Elgin at Rt. 59in about 24min.) Most of the time I ride at no more than 15 over. I do not use my high beams if there is oncoming lanes adjacent, or if there is a possibility of blinding anyone in front of me. I have 100 watt headlights with Xenon and there are two of them. The stock ones were only 55watts and woefully inadequate. I am going going to install some small LED lights in the now obsolete Ram Air induction holes.

That really makes sense Jim, if you want a really nice gross motor skill connector get a hold of me and I will send you a couple. They are really strong and have a paracord connected that pulls the buttons in from center when tugged with very little input. Depending on the length of the cord you could release that without letting go of the toggles I think. They are made by ITW Nexus It's a really old 'trick' that use to make quite a difference on a PC, hang the front mounted reserve to the side and open the chest strap all the way. I jump fairly lightly loaded canopies and I agree with DSE, it DOES make a discernible difference, even just doing it 4-5 inches...flattens out the wing and gives you more responsive turns and flare. REALLY turbo-charged one of my demo canopies by adding a split slider!
