The string 2003 was found at position 25410 in the constant PI, counting from the first digit after the decimal point. The 3. is not counted. 3.1415926535....(25400 digits later)... 099897990620035936509934... Ok, so I was bored, gimme a break!... ~Chivo

Quote...However, I can't speak for security. What's that supposed to mean? Isn't the point of all this to be able to go through security without all the hassle? Am I missing something? ~Chivo

Since english is not my first language, I'm curious about the phrase... A NEAR MISS for me... it means: it nearly missed, which then it means that it hit! LOL! ~Chivo

DirectX comes with XP. Make sure you have all the updates (XP SP1). Apparently it is unable to set the pixel format for the rendering context, i.e. unsupported resolution by your card/monitor configuration. First it tries with the OpenGL drivers and since it can't make it work, it then tries with the 3dfx drivers. The solution: Assuming you have a decent (newer) graphics card, probably from nvidia or ati... go to their website and download their drivers. XP has drivers for both of them but they do not include the opengl extensions (only direct3d). But if you download the drivers from www.nvidia.com or www.ati.com, you'll get what you need. That's awesome, where can I see that video? Is it in skydivingmovies.com? ~Chivo

Two of them and they kicked azz! Three of my skydiving friends and myself got together in Elsinore yesterday. Yep, it was our load... the four of us in the helicopter. Jeanne was on the step while David, Pier and I hung from it. WOW! I loved it! Just wished it could've been @ 13k. Now I can't wait to do a balloon jump! Later, Chivo

I don't mean dates! I was talking with several skydiving friends and realized we all can. Now I'm curious, how many skydivers know how to juggle 3 balls? ~Chivo

Funny how everybody assumed you're talking about a cold (or flu). The phrase 'getting sick' could also mean you wan to throw up (maybe you're pregnant, or you just ate something bad). LOL! Never mind... this is a good excuse for me to post-whore! Hope you feel better soon. ~Chivo

If you don't mind the drive, you can find other clubs in LA or San Diego. ~Chivo

True, but when that *unforseen* thing happens, it will not just jeopardize some equipment, it could (and probably will) jeopardize the ppl's lives too! Anyway, I agree that only humans have the problem solving skills needed when the sh*t hits the fan. Figures. Thx for the reply Wendy. What do you do there? Just curious. ~Chivo

I haven't read the books... but if the second one is actually named "Two Towers"... they should leave it like that. Either way, I'd go see the movie regardless of the name. ~Chivo

With all the computing power/electronics available today, is it really necessary to send a human being? Most of the samples needed for reaserch can be obtained using robots. And if the research is about how humans react to no/low gravity, they can do it without going all the way to the moon. ~Chivo
