  4. Thanks, I heard that someone had an extra hole on the front (bottom) of the helmet to be able to do that, but it might have been on a different helmet. ~Chivo

  8. Hi all, I searched the forum and only found info on the FF2. What about the FFX? If you don't know what I'm talking about, look here http://www.2kcomposites.com/html/ffx.html Do you jump one? Would you recommend it? Is it comfortable? Do you need to adjust the camera? How do you do that? Do you have a cameye or cameye2? I couldn't tell from the photos... does it have openning(s) on the back to turn the camera on/off? And to start/stop recording? Any other comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Chivo
  9. Whut!??!? No multiple answers allowed!?!? Guess I'd go for Lucy Liu then.

  12. It was fun, I definetly enjoyed it. Funny how similar it felt to be under canopy, but without the freefall. Sort-of reminded me of a hop'n'pop, except that the ride lasted for about 30 minutes. ~Chivo

    TIVO!

True, but I didn't want to rely on my PC for that. Besides, I got this tivo really cheap... it was an open box @ Best Buy and I got it for under $200 and it comes with a $50 mail in rebate. Came with all cables manuals, etc., and it looks like new. ~Chivo

    TIVO!

Its an undocumented feature.... but then again, there's lots of info about it online. My setup is something like... Phone Line -> DSL/Cable Modem -> Lynksys Router -> Computers/Tivo. Its awesome... when setting up the TIVO, it took 5 seconds to download all the data, instead of the 30 minutes it estimated! Definetly worth it! It needs a DHCP server to get an ip address. That's why its connected through my router. Oh, and everything must be connected before you turn the Tivo on. During the setup up, you must specify a dialing prefix of ",#401". Not that I'm aware of. It will work just like it would with the phone, but all data goes through the web instead, and it is much much faster this way. I chose Tivo because I can do anything I want with it... change hard drives, get mpeg streams out of it, etc. Well, I haven't tried doing it with series 2 yet, but I have done it with a series 1 @ a friends house. He got a 40 hr DirecTivo and we removed its hard drive and added a new one with 160 Gigs storage capacity. ~Chivo

    TIVO!

Saw it...Wanted it...Had a fit...Got It!!! (Sound familiar? I read it in a thread here, sometime ago.) That's right, I now have a device that watches TV for me when I can't! Now I don't have to be there to watch my favorite episodes as they're broadcast... it rulez! I even got the Series 2 with USB, plus a USB Ethernet dongle, so I have it connected to my home network with access to internet thru DSL! I can set it to record any show I want, from any PC that has a web browser & internet connection! I am a very happy camper! ~Chivo

  19. Yep, I'm talking about SudsyFist. Haven't seen him in a long time @ Perris, and haven't seen him post here. In fact, his last post was Jan 14, 2003, 3:58 PM. Where the hell is he? ~Chivo
  20. Thx Jt, guess I'm a really boring person. The reason I put myself through all this boring activities must be that I'm addrenaline-challenged. Well, either that or I'm just a masochist! LOL! I'll post again after the terrible ordeal. ~Chivo
  21. Probably sylmar (www.windsports.com) in south California. But there are other locations if weather is not favorable there. Tandem skydives is what got me started in this sport, so I thought I'd give that a try. ~Chivo
  22. That's not going to work out for me, but glad it did for you.
  23. Funny how I convinced 3 whuffo friends to come hang-gliding with me tomorrow, but I can't convince them to go skydiving! They actually think its safer because they're closer to the ground! HEHEHE! Well, tomorrow will be my pre-second hang-glider ride and I'll be doing a tandem flight. Anybody done this? Any comments or advice? ~Chivo
