    Freefly Jumpsuits

I cannot agree more I absolutely do not get excited about anything unless it is an absolutely superior product in all senses, and I believe FF to be that. don't try your bullshit with me!!!

    Freefly Jumpsuits

Firefly, is the best made, and is affordable, 260 with shipping and taxes included for a v stripe ff suit. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  3. no just have a rigger lengthen your brake lines. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  4. i second that it is too short of brake lines don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  5. I stow mine as soon as I hit the ground for the same reason that you do. I do not let go of my toggles though I land, turn my camera off and then stow without letting them go so there is no chance of that happening. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  6. bev suits last for a long time and are high quality at a good price don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  7. Yes, but once you have gotten past the initial cost it is way cheaper. I figured this 1200 for first rig sold got 1100 back 2500 for second sold got 2250 back, thrid and current 2000. All the mentioned except for first were used and only had container reserve and cypress. Added the main fro really cheap at 500, got a steal. I bought a camera system which was around 1000. Lost one camera system on a jump it was 1000 as well. Jumps in the first 2 to 3 yrs was near 10,000. near 14,000 spent on so far and not accounting for travel cost, repacks, etc. Which would be at least 1000 to 2000 more. When I can take out my ski boat, and pay for gas let say $60 which is really way too much. I have a day to two days of skiing and wakeboarding all day for that cost. The boat already cost me 3500 for initial cost. Now lets compare to a normal day of jumping. Gas is usually 25 for there and back plus food, plus jumps lets say 10 for the weekend which isn't shit, oh wait I go home in the evenings mostly so double gas and food and then you have jumps which lets say 200 just to be fair. Now that is a typical weekend except a lot have about 15 jumps but I'll say 10 for good measure. Now lets think of a boogie. I am not going to go unless I have at least 500 for jumps then all other costs, your getting close to a 1000 or more just for a weekend. Skydiving is not cheap to me, and is in no way cheaper than MOST other sports. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  8. I would say that spectre is the way to go don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  9. I think that it is both, but skydiving is definitely expensive. I would always ride quads and ski when I was low on funds don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  10. they just must make that dissapointed looking face and tell me that for no reason. I have been involved in riding quads, skiing, wakeboarding, etc. and no they don't even come close. As I said I still jump it doesn't bother me, I wish it was cheaper, but oh well. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  11. I am not really going to comment on the aad part, but I know many many people who were all about jumping and then got a very dissapointing look on their face after hearing how much it would cost for gear, and then how much it would be to make a good amount of jumps to be in the sport truly. This is hands down the most expensive sport that I have ever been involved with. I do love so therefore I will make sacrifices si that I can jump often. Many who would love to jump simply are not going to spend that much money to get into any sport, much less it seems to just stay expensive with how much you want to jump. All the friends that have quit said it was over two factors: the money, and the people bitching about meaningless shit. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  12. I had a javelin that was a c18, and it fit fine and I was 6'1" and 200 don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  13. looks sweet, hope you jump the hell out of it. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  14. you do an average of 20 jumps per season, for a total of 200. There is absolutely NO reason that you should be looking into going crossbraced because you will not be doing any hp landings or even close to it from what it sounds to me. A good example would be to buy a ferrari and only drive it a few times a year and not even try to get above 45 mph. Don't do it, that is useless and they are a lot more expensive than regular canopies. Ones to check would probably be safire 2, sabre 2, or spectre, and would reccomend not to go below 150. That is just my two cents on it
  15. buy a vector 3 don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  16. me too but I surprised the shit out of everyone by not even getting hurt at all and passing many up in skill don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  17. nice to see I am not the only one don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  18. that is why I said he will have to dig hard to find a place that would help him out. I also agreed with the person who said above that everyone should listen to BIgun and ignore everyone elses advice. Sounds like you have had bad blood with idiots in the past and you should rightfully jump on them for doing so, but I am not one of them and the advice I gave was fairly good if I can say so myself and I was mostly trying to encourage him to not give up his quest to skydive. Have fun and blues. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  19. I think at a minumum, you should try to get at least 100 a yr. That is not that much, but it should make you a bit more comfy out there. Jumping is like anything else in life, if you want to get good you have to practice. In your case if you want to feel more comfy in the air you have to be in the air. Hope it works out, and remember life ain't that serious so don't think yourself into giving up or leaving the dz because it doesn't feel right most all of us felt that way at one time skydivng is not a normal act. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  20. well if he jumps mirage student gear he wouldn't have a problem or any of the other above mentioned, so no you would not need to jump a tandem rig for that. So no I don't bet he could just walk up to any dz and find one of those on the rack. That is of course why I told him that he may have to dig a little to find someone or somewhere that would help him out. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  21. You are correct. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  22. 0-10 manta wl don't recall 10-120 triathlon 190 wl 1.1 120-475 viper 150 wl 1.5 Yeehaw, never even hurt myself and still have not, but would do it different if I did it again don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  23. like others have said there is a way you just may have to dig a little to find it. You don't need special gear like a tandem or any shit like that. I have seen Danny Hall from Mullin's dz who weighs 280 w no gear, jump a tiny javelin container all the time, and have heard my old dzo who knew people in the sales business jumping 109 reserves who were in the upper 200's on the scale. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  24. I would jump a 170/170 system. Buy used unless cost does not really matter. you can downsize a few times with that rig. You would probaly never have to change systems, unless in time you go extra small on the main. You could also get a main that is a little bit bigger to start. I would definitely buy used, your mind may want other things in a rig after you have jumped for a while. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
  25. I woudl probably not buy new if you are new to the sport and there is a lot of great great used gear out there. Ones I like are vector 3, mirage, voodoo, wings, and infinity. Spectre is a great canopy and plenty of used ones out there. don't try your bullshit with me!!!
