  1. Last weekend there was toilet paper and crap at the exit of La Mousse. If you are a slow hicker it's a 60min hike from the station. I mean who would even think to bring toilet paper on such a short hike... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

  3. It's not about the woman, it's about the Baby. I think you don't understand the concept of breast feeding. The woman does not do it to show you her breasts, she does it to feed her Baby. Why did you think it was cool the first time? Because you got to see breasts??? Why does it make you sick? Do you find it descusting to see a Baby beeing breast feedet. I don't want this to sound like a personal attack but maybe you should talk to a shrink about this. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

  6. Was legal. Started getting periodic closures when we (jumpers) did dumb-ass stuff (like jumping during a funeral in the village below). Now closure seems like the normal state of affairs on that one, but don't take that as "it's illegal, so why not" because there are many other exits in the same valley, governed by the same folks, so we still have lots to lose there. It is exactly as Tom says it. The jump is illegal and jumpers will get fined for jumping it. But that is only the unimportant side of it; the fine is not height... But this jump is the only one that is near to the town. And the waterfall is the main tourist attraction in the valley. That is why the locals don't want us to jump there. So if people keep jumping there the locals will stop the jumping in the valley. But the sad thing is that this has been communicated many times and there are still reckless assholes that give a shit about this and jump it anyways. 7. Very nice! Is there a chance to download the file in a better quality? Cheers Michi Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  8. personal coach... very nice, does he rub his shoulder after the jump... :-) Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  9. dude, you said that you did 100 BASE jumps avarage a year for the past 3 years! That is very current for my point of view. And if you don't do them of the same object all the time I think you are not behind the folks that lives in TF. .. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

  12. You can pre order the black box for the Sony HC3 now at cookie In my opinion, this box looks better then the bonehead box. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  13. If you just want to know the hight of the object then a laser is good. But for an subtermanal E that comes out a bit it is defently better to throw rocks. Then you also know if it is jumpable... An example: First you throw a rock and hear impact after 3 seconds, then you throw it a bit harder and hear impact after 8 seconds, then you go shopping for metal, wood, bolts and so on, then you go back to the jump and build a nice ramp, then you drop another rock and hear impact after 8 seconds without having to toss the rock, then you jump...
  14. I was a skydiver before I started BASE jumping. But then I moved back from Mexico to Switzerland (one of the paradise of BASE Jumping) and the skydiving prices here are dobble of the prices in Mexico, so I have done only 5 Skydives in the last 12 month and about 80 BASE Jumps. But I will do some Skydives again in about 2 weeks (current delivery time from phoenix fly for prodigy!!!!!) because I purchased a prodigy wingsuit. Also the 5 Skydives I did have been to try out BASE stuff that I was to scared to do first of a cliff. But I'm sure I would skydive more it it was not that f'ching expensive here in Switzerland. And the cliffs are for free!!! Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  15. How are you Micke? I uploaded something to skydiving movies: ZüriBASE You play a guest role there... Greetings from Switzerland Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  16. Note: only replying to the last post... Please explain to a European what this EFS is. I found out in this thread that it means Eat Fuck Skydive. But I don't get how it's done. Do you shout EFS when you toast or do you actually try to do it and pretend to fuck and skydive while eating? And do you have to make funny faces while doing it? And is there a special EFS handshake? And why is there no EFBASE thing? Please explain. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

Steet (I don't know how to spell his name, in fact I don't know how to spell many words...) from Norway would probably say it is not smart to do a terminal jump in Kjerag with a slider down packed rig... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  18. This is a valid point. Does anybody know if anybody saw the accident from the top? Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  19. Ok, but I think there are 2 opinions here. One is what the jumpers said standing below the bridge: and the other is what Tom can see in the pictures taken by a tourist: I would be very interested in hearing a first hand witness raport. But this belongs probably in the fatality thread... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  20. I don't get it. How do you know that it happend because of tying his pilot with a pull up. I don't know what happend, I live far away, but according to BASE BOB's post: So why are so many beliving that it was because of a pull up??? 21. Aussie, French, patato, patato... Important is that the swiss are different...
  22. I love that story. I'm already an old fuck but still new to BASE Jumping. But I love when "old" dudes like Tracy or Micke tell strories of the old days. Jumping was different back then and I don't know if I would have started under these conditions. My respect to the pioneers of BASE.
