  1. Haha...now that is some customer service...although quite disturbing. Sounds like you really like your new suit Tony. I would be interested in more comparison to other HP suits like the Blade, V-2, & M1. Give us an update once you have some more flights against some of the other suits. Thanks for the review & the photo. I was curious about the Blade and its performance range. It looks like a nice suit and all the nice comments are encouraging for potential buyers. That is an excellent photo to allow close comparison between the V-2 & the Blade. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  3. OSOK, I see that according to your profile you live in Florida. Once you get more jumps under your belt you absolutely need to visit Z-Hills. You can learn to spread your wings under the guidance of Chuck Blue or Jeff Neblekopf. They are both awesome WS instructors and they have a wide selection of demo suits for you to try. Jeff can also measure you for a new Tony Wingsuit while you are there. I love my Tony Aerobat. Good luck with your progression into the flock! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  4. Wow...that was a little scary to watch. That is exactly the reason why a beginner pilot should start with a beginner suit. Happy Flocking!! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  5. Hey Bob. It was great having you here. Sorry that the weather was poop the whole time. It still was alot of fun. You missed an awesome Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday night. Lets just say that I was not in the best of shape on Sunday morning...haha. See you at Skyfest. We need all the birdmen & birdwomen we can get. Perhaps we can do a Texas WS record!!! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  6. Yes this is alot of fun. Just keep your eyes peeled for all the trackers. Last weekend I had 201MPH on my neptune during my diving approach down to the tracking group. :o Just like Robi says...airspeed equals lift...so pulling out of a steep dive provides lots of lift and drive. Just use it wisely. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  7. Grats on your first flight. Welcome to the wingsuit club. Ohh....you owe beer too dude. ;) -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  8. Very nice James. Looks like a hell of a good time. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  9. Very nice my brother. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  10. Haha...enjoyed that very much Tero. Thanks! I couldn't help but notice that Scott Bland flys the most stable base of all time. He doesn't even move!! Oh and nice back-flying Jeff and Chuck. There was some excellent talent there this year. I look forward to Flock & Dock 3.5 -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  11. Very nice. I really enjoy flying around the clouds too. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  12. Besides Bob Futrell...Who is coming out to SD Orange (VA) for some WS action this weekend? -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  13. Yes Matt. I agree with your view. I think that before you join such a tracking dive you need to consider both the size of the tracking dive and the skill level of each individual. If the group is too large or there are people who are not strong and consistent trackers than it should be avoided. Thanks for everyones views. These discussions are good for all of us who fly wingsuits. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  14. Yes, Matt, I mean flying circles around the tracking group. I am in agreement on the safety concerns. Safety is of the greatest importance. The tandem masters at Orange have come to request a flyby whenever I am on the plane. The people organizing the tracking dives usually invite me to come along. These tracking dives are well dicussed in advance and all jumpers are aware of me and know what my approach and flight plan is. I also give the group ample time to tighten up into a formation before I begin my approach so that I am not flying by any straglers. I hope to promote WS jumping in a safe manner. I absolutely do not want to put a bad light on WS flying. Thanks for the concern. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  15. OK...so here is the latest WS fun at Skydive Orange. On larger tracking dives I join them for some swoopage. Generally flying several high speed passes around the group. First pass I think about 60-80 mph closing speeds and swooping about 30 feet in front of lead tracker. So much fun for me and it seems to scare the shit out of the trackers on the first pass. Now all I need is a couple wingmen and we dive bomb it as a group. Hope to see more birdies at Orange soon!!! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  16. Alright, who wants to join me out at SkyDive Orange (VA) on Sunday May 6th for some wingsuit fun??? Anyone??? -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  17. Man...I sure do wish I had been at that cookout. Miss you guys already. Cya at Flock & Dock 3.5 -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  18. Hey Lurch! Thanks for looking out for us fine beer drinking birds. I suggest a keg of New Castle. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  19. Any birds want to come out to Skydive Orange (VA) on Sunday May 6th? Keep in mind that bird people are welcome to SD Orange any time!!! I am organizing a group of non-skydiving friends to make tandems that day but want some wingsuit people to flock with. Bob, I know you will be at Orange that weekend! You too Stoney & Brandon!! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  20. That sounds like a hella good time. The Brothers Gray will likely be there. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  21. I was rather unimpressed after watching the show. Yes, I know it would impress any whuffo. Their goal was a 5 min flight and I think they achieved 1m55s or so. Man, any good WS pilot can achieve those numbers with glide only from 13k. Although they didn't mention any distance covered or glide ratio on the show. I guess if they did 4-5 minutes with some portion of flight straight & level I would be more enthusiastic. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  22. Skyflock...sounds like a good plan to me!! -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  23. Hello all. I would be interested in organizing this. I think that Orange would be receptive to this idea. I have made good friends with most of the folks there and don't see a reason why they would object. Kevin, I remember you used to instruct wingsuit there. You may also be a good person involved in this. Bob, in regards to May 4-5 @ Orange, I very likely will be there on Sunday the 5th with a group of friends and co-workers that are interested in tandems. If so I will have my wingsuit and would love to have someone to flock with. Just let me know. -Chris- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
  24. Sweet photos Matt. I am really looking forward to the video. Thanks for flying camera for us dude...and also thanks to all the other camera flyers who were there. You know who you are!!! -CG- WSI-6 / PFI-55 The Brothers Gray Wingsuit Academy http://www.myspace.com/cgwingsuitpilot http://www.myspace.com/thebrothersgray
