The DZO recommended a Sabre 2 170. But then he was going to sell me one so.... Steve(DZO) was right when he said I could jump the 170. I never had problems with canopy control. Based on what he saw he was making the right call. The above statement by me was a way of assigning blame to individuals other than myself. I was blaming people other than myself for getting injured, No one told me to jump the 170, I searched the whole DZ for it and found it in a corner in the packing room, the harness seemed a little uncomfortable, but I did'nt care. I had to jump the 170. After sitting out three loads and listening to and laughing at jokes like, "On days like these the experienced people sit out and watch the inexperienced people get experienced" and knowing that some of the instructors were sitting out, I still had to get on that load. It's easier to place the blame than to own up. Hopefully I have set the record straight.

I noticed that you said "I am supposed to jump". There is no such thing as supposed to, jump when you are ready and fully healed. Take somemore time off Jessica. You'll only be stronger. I know its hard to stay away from jumping. I would suggest that you make sure that you can PLF without any pain(I mean zero pain). Please try on a soft mattress first.

She is gorgeous and has many talents. To everyone that voted "I'd let her kick my ass......." She can probably kick your ass anyways . Seems like a person that would not be afraid to skydive if someone suggested it to her.

The Superbowl Blimp!! Its night already and I don't have my GL2 anymore(have a Sabre2 instead ), was thinking of posting pics. My other digital still camera is'nt good enough to get a picture at night.

I had those days as a student and I broke my ankle just after getting off student status, jumping in high winds. Now about two months later, I am able to walk almost normally. 1-2 months before I can jump again. The next time you feel too eager to make a jump think about this.

My brother is a skydiver too, he has more jumps than me (both of us are newbies to this sport). If he had'nt started jumping I probably would not have jumped yet. I wanted to jump four years ago and just forgot about it.

Just came back from work. Its only 3:39 am here. You know I was thinking about starting a thread like this.....

Person A So what do you think? Its just for fun. I am not selling my canopy for less than 1350 anyway. My take on this is that the guy is just making up reasons to justify a low price. If you were not sure how a canopy was treated you don't buy it until you inspect it. Not just say I will buy it without inspection for lesser money.
