  1. Ok, so who else things those chicks on Survivor are pathetic? They are giving women a bad name. Get real. Who cares about those little anorexic girls who can't build a fire or build a hut. Give me a break. All these reality shows have gone way too far. What has America come to? Are we that shallow of a people to expose ourselves and loved ones to this garbage? What happened to the good old shows like Dick Van Dyke, Cosby Show, or even Quantum Leap. And yes, I know they are on Nickelodian. Come on American television fans, lets protest this moronic programming and get back to what really matters.....family, skydiving, exploring, skydiving, romantic evenings, skydiving. Is anyone in agreement here? Que sera sera
  2. Awesome, Dude. Thanks for sharing your expereince with the rest of us. Good work
  3. Yup. Got the screw that attaches my camera to the bracket. On the bracket I also have a small bit of bungee that i use to wrap around the camera to secure it as well. Have never had any problems with the screw or the bungee. You can see this setup on the Skydance system 3 helmet. Que sera sera
  4. I use B&H a lot. I get all the vhs tapes from them. Good service and great delivery times. Que sera sera
  5. Unfortunatle, somtimes a cameras freefal to the earth below is instant death. My camera buddy had to cut away his helmet and lost his TRV. Not really protected by a box. Found it later and it was totaled!!. wow, if that had been his head....... But Sony does ROCK!! Que sera sera
  6. Ever jump at West Tenn skydiving with Mullins? I have relatives about an hour south east of there. Never jumped there, though. Que sera sera
  7. Yeah, I've heard they are pretty trustworthy. Good deals, too. Que sera sera

  11. Skydive Pennsylvania is no big time DZ, and has only just made it to it's 10th year. Congrats to them and for keeping it going for us locals. Que sera sera
  12. Bob is a great guy. He shows up at our DZ a few times a year ready to jump. We have some old pictures of him hanging on our photo walls. I've seen a lot of those pictures - he and Jay Hughes did a lot of the pioneering, especially in hollywood. Bob worked with John Wayne as well in one of his war movies. This is a guy who's seen it all and lives to tell about it. I've jumped with him a couple of times years ago and It was a trip. His gear is sometimes a little scary, but hey..... Que sera sera
  13. Probably the first couple out of the cessna. I am still a bit leary of heights, but not out of planes....wierd!! It's like your insanely too high to be afraid of falling. Now put me on a 20 foot ladder and you'll have an ear full of oh shits..... Que sera sera
  14. A secret place for Crew dogs? OOOh, a secret society might be kinda fun
  15. And to add to that.....most terrorists live and work among us. That good ball they just captured last week...he was educated in the US and lived with us, posing as a peacful. That's their plan, you know. Your roomate, your neighbor, your teacher, anyone could be lurking in the bushes waiting to strike. Anyone see that movie "Arlington Road" with Jeff Bridges? Que sera sera
  16. What did you buy and get ripped on? Sounds like a question you might ask a drunk, now, don't it. I have always has good expereinces with e bay. Que sera sera
  17. Yup!! There will be another lunatic to take his place. Que sera sera
  18. I'm glad videos have helped you come out of your "depression". It gets me going, too. It's nice to hear a thanks for all the video work we do. I love filming!!!
  19. I just bought a new Optik to replace my old camera gear. I have heard many raves about the 2k composite helmets, thought. Some complain about this uncomfortable chin strap, though. I also bought a ring sight from 2k. I am waiting on it's arrival. It seems to be a fairly low profile, nice and clean looking. A Cam eye is a MUST. It has saved my tail on many jumps when the camera has hit the door on climb out and turned off. Just hit the button and turn it back on. Bite switches are way cool, too. Some prefer the tongue switch, however, due to the fact that there is no jaw movement. Delivery on Bonehead helmets is about 8 weeks, but well worth it. I got a really nice paint job. you will likely pay upwards of 300$. If ordereing from Bonehead, make sure they have a properly sized mount for you if you plan to go with stills. I ran into this problem recently and now have to fabricate a mounting bracket myself. Don't forget.... Goos skydiving gear is not cheap and cheap skydiving gear is not good!!! Que sera sera
  20. I agree with top mounts. Altbough I have never flown a side mount, there do seem to be more inherent risks with this setup. Risers and line snags are real nasty dude and easy to catch on a side mount. Most of the professional people with many jumps, including myself, prefer top mounts. Top mounts, however can snags lines as well. You wnat to get rid of any snag points and make sure when you peice it all together that it is nice and clean. Good luck.
  21. I'm glad to hear that you are having good luck with the Diablo. I owned a 110 2 years ago. Never got any good landings from it. I wound up sending it back to have some line adjustments made, but it didn't fix the problem. I got rid of it. I did really like the zippy turns....way cool. But the landings were really hard on me. My Crossfire treats me much better. Good luck Mr. Diablo Que sera sera
  22. Good angle. How'd you get that shot? I just wish I was more creative about these things. I'm a pretty concrete thinker about engineering and technical issues. Que sera sera
