  1. Hi Peter, Most skydivers are in their 20's. You are 22 yrs old, single, in a bar looking at two women. One is a 37B & the other is a 37C; which one will you go for? However, you could not be more correct. JerryBaumchen
  2. Hi Southern, OK, Rule #1: You have to get my name correct. It is BAUMCHEN. No more screw-ups, got that? BTW, by spelling my name that way you are part of a very large group of people. OK, now to get serious; I really have not the faintest idea. Like everyone, there are limitations to what I know. I find out about these limitations almost everyday; just ask my kids. Heck, just ask my 6 yr old grandson. But the info is interesting, JerryBaumchen PS) If there is one thing that I consider the internet valuable for is the information that can be found. PPS) I had a professor in college, whose last name was Razgaitas, and if you spelled in wrong on a paper, he took points off.
  3. Hi Andy, Hmmmm, didn't I post something about this kid a month or so ago? JerryBaumchen PS) Lawyers; sheesh.
  4. Hi joe, Here in Portland, OR we had a local auto racer & auto repair shop owner named Harry Dick (RIP). They were called the Harry Dick Racing Team; and were well known in this part of the world. JerryBaumchen
  5. Hi John, I don't know & I don't care. I do know what electrical conduit is though; I've actually used it in some 'electrical' applications. I spent 30 yrs working in the high voltage transmission industry & a former brother-in-law was an electrician (RIP). JerryBaumchen PS) Brain surgery is also something I don't know about; and unless something out of the ordinary happens, I also don't care about it.
  6. Hi John, +1 I understand that in Germany, the state will decide if you name your kid whatever. Abedy, you out there? JerryBaumchen PS) As a legally 'Gerald' ( which I really, really hate ), I am opposed to even a name that can become a nick-name. My two kids are Erin & Drew, simple.
  7. Hi Mark & Mark, I'm not going to jump into this except that I have found that the FAA's 'position' on things like this are only until you get a newer/different FAA-type to talk to. The next time either of you have a similar conversation with an FAA-type, tell him/her to put in writing. I'll bet that they will defer. Just my experience; oh, and back in the 60's at a fairly large meeting with the FAA, they told us it was the user who was responsible. JerryBaumchen
  8. Hi John, You could not be more wrong about this! JerryBaumchen
  9. Hi dr, When I first read the title to this thread I thought you were wondering if she was going to take that new portable mattress carrier ( read: travel trailer ) & go into a new ( to her ) profession. JerryBaumchen
  10. Hi John, And I believe that she had a twin sister named Ina or something I cannot remember. Heard the story of Ima back in the 70's. JerryBaumchen
  11. Hi John, You might ad 'for the guys.' And to all of you who have selected the POM when you were born, you do realize that she could be your mother? JerryBaumchen

  13. Hi Tim, Many years ago there was a letter to the editor of SKYDIVING magazine from a Richard Cranium. I never knew if Truffer printed it because he did not know or was having some fun with us. JerryBaumchen
  14. Hi John, I got all 6 the first time through. But I have taken this type of test before. You need to understand that it is the word 'OF' that most people miss the count with. JerryBaumchen
  15. Hi Nat, Had something similar happen years ago. I live on the US west coast & had to go back to Richmond, Virginia for some testing. I got into the Holiday Inn ~10:30 at night ( east coast time ), grabbed some food & watched the late night tv. About 1:00 AM local time the two in the next room started going at it; our headboards on the beds were up against the same wall. Those two went at it until ~ 4:00 AM. I did not get much sleep that night. I even pulled my bed away from the wall but that wall just kept vibrating, and it was obvious that the female in question was definitely enjoying herself. The next morning I looked in the parking lot for a car with a JUST MARRIED sign on it but could not find one. Some things in life you never forget, JerryBaumchen
  16. Hi Moms, Way before your time ( but your dad may remember it ) but back in the days of radio, Bob Hope once got cut off the air by saying, 'If bathing suits get any smaller, women will have to get two haircuts.' JerryBaumchen
  17. Hi Speed, They don't go back far enough for us older folks. So I'll go with the one when I turned 21: http://www.freeweb.hu/playmate/html/6109.html And I do remember her, JerryBaumchen PS) This should be fun; for us guys anyway.
  18. Hi Jeanne, Re: I'll Never Smile Again For me the best will always be Jo Stafford. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ8COLbG5wA Those were the days, JerryBaumchen
  19. Hi Jeanne, Bingo: I'll Never Smile Again THX, JerryBaumchen PS) Some days I think that is the story of my life.
  20. Hi Shah, OK, just for you; some may be real & some may be fake. NSFW folks: http://www.freeweb.hu/playmate/main.html JerryBaumchen

    Burglary

Hi old6, That immediately brought back a vision of the scene from the movie FARGO. JerryBaumchen
  23. Hi Bob, I have this faint memory that his first name was Roy and his last name sounded sort of like it might have been Native American. That's all I got, Edit to add: Roy Starbird JerryBaumchen
  24. Hi Terry, PD does have a drop test tower that could be used to test a harness. And that was an excellent writeup with some good thoughts. JerryBaumchen PS) Your hot cutter will got out in a day or so; IMO that thing is way too heavy for production use. It weighs 2 lbs compared to 2 oz for my HK-60. http://www.hsgmusa.com/Products/hsg-0-heat-cutter.asp http://products.mmnewman.com/item/heavy-duty-hot-knife-and-tips/heavy-duty-hot-knife/hk-60?
