Not neccesarily. If a fired bullet doesn't hit anything hard it will maintain it's original shape. The only "disfiguration" of a fired bullet while in-flight would be the shallow channels impressed into the sides of the bullet by the rifling as the bullet squished itself from the firearm's chamber into the barrel. Thus, it substantially retains it's original shape, until it hits something hard. When considering the size and balanced shape of a bullet, would it be same to assume the rifled scratches on it would help cause it to rotate in FF? Also, if you could fire rounds into water with out damage it would rifle the bullet and then you could retry the experiment... I know a guy that was charged with a crime and arrested. He spent a couple days in jail. The police came to his work looking for him. Turns out the accuser was making it up and the charges were dropped before it even went to trial. He could have very easily lost his job if his boss wasn't really cool and understanding. Should we not arrest suspected criminals? Or put them in jail awaiting trial or bail? I asked this question above and you haven't answered it. If I rob a grocery store of $500, and am arrested, I will not be held in jail likely for long. If the case goes to trial I will most likly be release until that date. Murder is obviously a different story, because there is a threat risk to the public. In the story you told was the person who lied arrested for filing a false report? Was he/she sued for loss of wages while the guy was in jail? Is that true????? Example: an accusation of a teacher commiting a crime causes an indictment. The teacher is then not "Fired". They may not be teaching and suspended. If they are found INNOCENT in court, they would be re-instated. So if a congressman is asked to "Step-down" would they be re-intated after being found not guilty? Nope!!! And that is not fair. I never used to floss..... Then I had to get a "DEEP CLEANING" that sucked!!!! I started flossing just a couple times a week, and my hygenist noticed. Typically a root cannal is needed when the tooth has died, and become infected, or when a break or chip has exposed the nerve or root. If you need one, chances are you will know it, because it is quite painfull. Of my 6 root cannals, the one I had monday was the worst. My jaw still hurts!!! It took almost 2hrs of my dentist filing ... he couldn't get all of the nerve because the cannal spiraled down into the root. He finally managed to get it all, but not before I was practically in tears. THe pain was getting bad again, so he put the needle directly into the canal and injected novacain onto the nerve.... Son OF A BITCH that hurt... But with in seconds the pain was gone. THe day after was the worst. I would recommend just taking pain meds every 4 hours for 24hrs to prevent the pain from ever kicking in. After a day it will be fine!!!! The nearest high ground in these pictures was about a mile inland.... atleast a 5 minute run!!!! The simple fact is, "Space" bullets do and have killed people. There are documented cases. In physics, the laws say that an object fired into the air will come down with the SAME force as it was lanched with in perfect conditions. FLAWS: First off, it is almost never the case that a bullet is fired straight up into the air. It is more likely on a high arc. Therefore, the bullet never looses full motion and rifling of the bullet should continue, thus allowing greater speed than what you experienced. I don't think this is a valid experiment.
