  1. You should sell that rig and buy one which will accomodate a larger reserve.
  2. All depending on what airline you are flying: http://gpsinformation.net/airgps/airgps.htm
  3. My girlfriend has the Nav 750, which is out of production now. She finds it extremely useful. It has a hard disk, large enough for the entire US at once, so no downloading for going places. It's bulky; the replacement version is much smaller. For about $1200 you can get a similar system (StreetPilot 2620), preloaded with entire US (maybe has Canada also. You can also get the 2610 and put a gig or two of flash memory in it, for about the same price ($740 plus $200 for memory). There's the Quest, ~$470, but it has less memory and not expandable. www.gpscity.com has competitive prices, and the are not in CA so no sales tax. Lots of info at http://gpsinformation.net/ If you want to use it for other purposes (hiking, boating, geocaching) don't get a dedicated automotive model.
  4. 'cause there's so much post whoring to do.
  5. 1. Those aren't NORCAL peeps. 2. No-one should ever be photographed while sitting on the crapper, unless perhaps they are passed out drunk.
  6. How could they miss "hiney hiccup?" That term really gave my friend's kids the giggles.
  7. Hey, mine's gonna be here before yours (maybe).
  8. I'm not surprised. I could feel that in his press conference, even though it wasn't voiced.
  9. Did you miss his statement regarding the proposed individually controlled SS funds? He stated that they could be passed on (implied inherited) to family members, if the person so chose.
  10. I'll second JP's recommendation of a Nitron or Nitro. Similar class to a Stiletto, a bit more bottom end flare, openings are more on-heading than the Stiletto or Katana. Less oversteer of toggle turns. The Nitro is made of the non-slick fabric, and packs up a bit larger than the Nitron. Unlike Gareth, I find that the Katana has a long control range, compared to the Stiletto. With enough slack in the brake lines to allow front riser maneuvers, I have trouble stalling the Katana. Of couse, I don't have the ape-like arm length that Gareth enjoys.
  11. Can't have her falling off, can we?
  12. Check www.gpscity.com For lotsa info (time sink) check out: http://gpsinformation.net/
  13. Tape it, using adhesive or sports tape. Done right, it isn't very bulky and can really add a lot of resistance to bending in the direction you don't want it to go. I did this for a couple of months after resuming jumping, following a bad ankle sprain, and it worked great. I took 6 weeks off, before jumping, after the sprain. Don't push it, if it's not ready, you'll just cause yourself more problems, likely permanent.
  14. If you make under $40k, you can open an IRA and contribute up to $3000 per year. The deduction phases out by the time you make $50k. If you are self-employed, you can set up a SEP-IRA, which has much higher income limits.
  15. Damn, it's a 173 pointer, already cleaned and mounted!
  16. You just need a couple of these: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041207/ap_on_he_me/fit_monster_burger
  17. I believe he was. ltdiver Yep. I'd say he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
  18. Averages: http://www.weather.com/activities/other/other/weather/climo-monthly-graph.html?locid=USCA0623&from=search It just all depends on how you catch it.
  19. This doesn't have anything to do with that varicocele surgery, does it?
  20. You can do that, but you might find that it is easier to sell your old container with the reserve already in it. I personally would probably not get a new container, if just dropping one main size, unless it was already a loose fit in the larger container, or I wanted a new container anyway.
  21. Not a hike, but the Desert Museum is good. Second John's Saguaro Monument recommendation. I haven't hiked it, but I have biked it.
  22. Time for the "Price Albert in the can" joke.
