Yeah, I've found toads in my canopy - luckily before I packed it up. Grasshoppers on the other hand, get packed up in my chute all the time. I know I've had 4 or 5 in there at once. Actually, I did write them all down a few months back. I kinda felt bad that I had forgotten some girls, so it was a nice stroll down memory lane. Yeah, people usually comment, 'that's funny looking backpack'. Security has never been an issue for me. Sometimes people will call over their supervisor, but they're usually more interested in asking about skydiving than they are inspecting the rig. Sometimes a nervous person will ask why I have a parachute, and I respond with, 'they're giving them out at the door; you didn't get one?!' I usually get a few laughs from other passengers and it lightens the mood with snobby travellers! Jeff Shhh... you hear that sound? That's the sound of nobody caring!

It doesn't really answer your question, but I bought some 600tc from there, and have to say, they're really nice. I don't think I'll buy sheets anywhere else now. Not sure if the higher tc are ever better. My down comforter from Overstock is really nice as well. Word of advice, satin sheets aren't everything they're cut up to be.... Bought some for 'special occassions', and they're really hard to keep on the bed (duct tape maybe?), and I've nearly slipped out of bed a couple times they're so slick. Yeah, I had a live in girlfriend that did a great job. Even after we broke up, she still did the floors for me. Her new boyfriend didn't like my method of 'payment', so that didn't last long... Looking to enter my first (beer) CPC competition this weekend at Skydive Atlanta. I have some questions that I couldn't find answers to on canopypiloting.com site. Sorry if they're stupid, this is new to me... What's the start time? How/where do I register? Does it matter that I'm from FL, competing in the GA circuit? (working in GA that week). How/where do I pay the annual CPC membership? Also, I can't take off work for the skills camps two days prior to the comp. Would it be wise to pass on this comp and plan for one where I can attend the skills camp first? FYI, already taken a couple canopy courses, but have very little experience with gates.
