It can get very hot during the daytime in summer. You can rent scooters and see more of the island, but you may just want to wander around the village up the cliff from where the ship drops you off. That's a cool adapter! I have a ten year old Dell desktop in my garage, with Win95 loaded on it. I couldn't 'plug and play' my external drive into it to take off files, but I am guessing I could do the opposite and use an adapter to plug the internal drive into a usb port on my current laptop? You obviously didn't get bar mitzvah'ed in a midwest suburban town in the mid 1960's. For those of us who did ....they nailed it 100%. Check out the extras on the DVD for more on that... I wouldn't have enjoyed sitting thru this in a movie theater for $10, but as a DVD offering I thought it worthwhile...but I wouldn't recommend it as a light evening entertainment. marc "The reason angels can fly is that they take themselves so lightly." --GK Chesterton

Just shave your head, put on a brown bath robe, hang out at the local tourist trap church/shrine/temple and hold up a tour guide sign! . Great street next to Washington Univ campus with all kinds of shopping, excellent used CD/vinyl/DVD shop, art house movie theater, good music clubs, variety of international restaurants (thai, moroccan, african, etc) and a rebuilt Root Beer factory where you can watch it bottled while drinking a fresh root beer float!
