The requirements change depending on the conditions three yrs ago they had a girl land out in the desert with no flare and bust herself up. Two yrs ago they required a D, no full moon, not optomal conditions. Not enough people...cancelled. I jumped last yr , req was B qualified. Had a blast. this yr they req a D. I believe there are night jumps on the 18 Jan, when you are there. Andrew

If you go and buy this 150 what size reserve are you going to have. Imagine you have a 150 reserve you have had a high speed malfunction and have cut away.. 1200' you are over trees and the only landing area is a clearing that you can just make but will have no time to face the wind.. so would you feel confident enough to downwind this canopy into a small landing area? check out Billvon's criteria for downsizing can you land your 190 downwind ,crosswind, uphill,downhill. no wind. if you cant DON'T DOWNSIZE pick up some used for your first set of gear you can generally sell it for close to what you paid. been windy here too, had to land with the plane twice ( lippy was on the load also) only 119 jumps this yr 77 at boogies( Kamloops, LP, Canadian Nationals.) Oh well ... only a week and I'll be in Eloy.

I took 2 attempts cold turkey, about 3 yrs after I had a few drinks at a party and found myself with a lit cig , one drag was enough and I have never smoked since. My undersanding is that it takes about a month to get the nicotine out of your system, but it takes at least 18 months to retrain your habits. So try to disassociate smoking from pleasure. For the CSPA"2001 CoP" C, style series has to be 13 secs. for the CSPA Coach 2,you have to do both a style series and a manouver series in 14 secs.

CSPA recommends 18mph max for A & B licence 25mph C & D

CSPA has gone some way down this road. For the C and D you are required to meet standards in 2 of 5 of RW,FF,CReW,Style,Accuracy. you can download the reqs fromwww.cspa.ca All USPA is doing is uping the jump #. Andrew

So that they can form up the wackers while the base is forming and then fly them in also you dont have people docking on the main formation which may cause waves etc all the outer people dock on a whacker and a hard dock just affects that whacker not the whole formation.

We did threaten to throw him in the pool at the Inn after his jump. Weekend was a nice treat, 9c in Edmonton on Nov 30! Three jumps this weekend after not expecting to jump till Jan in Eloy. Eloy.....I seem to remember someone getting thrown in the pool there for their 200th... Andrew
