i feel for ya. i went to the middle east a few week back with work and at time i got on and i had over 1,000 new posts, lets just say i felt out of touch for a while after coming back to my trusty old computer at home an could read them all....still haven't taken the time to reread the faq and learn the mark-up code to do the smileys and quotes and links....i'll get around to it sometime!....hope you get connected again soon....

well i got to give my two cents on this.... yup i'm a smoker too! well i try and respect other peoples space and not smoke near tem if i know heydon't like it. other people don't care and that's cool, then you get the people that get pissed if your within 1,000 yards of them. i just don't like the extreamists. i do respect it though. also most peole didn't start smoking because of skydiving they started skydiving long after smoking........i smoke for a good reason too! seeing as i haven't got to have that after sex ciggarette in a while i need to get my nicotine elswere.

i wouldn't mind being back in ohio right now,hanging out at the waffel house...well later tonigh i would be there, it's fun to hang out there at like 1am and see what kinda wierd and cool people come in. pluss thr drunks are always funny to watch.....specialy if your one of em.....

okay all i shiped the wingnut's angels t-shirts yesterday. they should get to my angels in about a week. you all need to bug them about getting them up on the web for all to see! they are truely one of a kind! (very low budget production). still thinking about my next "contest". i think i should only have one winner though. making 3 t-shirts at atime is alot of work...plus i had to find an adult to help me with the iron.

i'm all for seeing frogie in a super tight jumpsuit(good idea carrie). but i wanted to fly the camera......oh wait i think somebody else had that spot on the 4 way planed................

let me shed a little insite into the aircraft maint. world. please take this as just my view, i'm only a fighter airplane mechanic with the u.s. air force. when a mechanic does some work on a aircraft he undertakes the responsibility that what he fixes will keep the plane in the air, hence keeping the people alive and well. plus if a mechanic gets cought by the FFA they loose thier liscence and thier way to make money. in my thinking it is mostly the dz operator that will let the scheduled maint go longer than req. and not the mechanic that will perform shody maintanance. we have a little saying here about maintanance......"when you kick the tires and light the fires it's to late to wonder if you did it right."......but you never know there is aleways a shody mechanic out there, hopefully he just never works on your dz's plane! there are certain risks you take upon when skydiving and it's just not the skydive but also the ride to the dz and inthe plane that you have to think about.

by my calculations it's around a 4 hour drive from las vegas to perris and from lv it's a 6 or so hour trip to pheniox and then two hours from there to eloy. i think i'm thinking right. if not let me know!!!!! maybe it's 10 hours to eloy..... froggie, i am sure coming to the east cost! how could i not come and visit you....i'm looking forward to the nakie jump(to bad i'll probly end up doing it alone)(hint hint...start working twords that 100 to time it just around july 8th or so!

how to work my way down, well i few friend at the dz have a silloute190 and a saber 170. i'm going to jump them for a while to get used to the smaller sizes....20sqft at at time untill i'm there and doing it safely.....plus someday i'll fly that new wingsuit that you can land in!...it's going to be a fun summer........got my nakie jump coming up, and you all know i love to bare it all for the world...wel almost all!

okay everybody!!!!! i missed it... i slept through most of it and worked the other half, did any of you all play a april fools joke on anyone? at the dz, at home, anywhere. i want to hear it.....i thought about calling my mom and telling her she was going to be a grandmother, but for a joke i didn't want her having a heart attack over it......maybe next year i'll think of a good one!....your turn guys!!!!!

buzz the bbq at night? would that be using vfr or bbq rules or both on that flight? and sure i'll make it out there! you just need to hook me up with a cheep ticket outa frankfurt on luftansa......i'll fly cargo class if i have to!......i'll be so close in august. just can't decide if i want to drive 4 hours to perris of 8 hours to eloy......all in just the time of friday night to sunday night.

well my first rig the canopy ride was awsome. i got to land in the non-student area and it was awsome. this was under a pd 210! my rig that i'm building now is a racer( as is the old one) and i just got a saber 150 for it (need to reline it though) and i'm going to get a tempo 170 for the reserve. that first jump is going to rock....just need to find some smaller canopies to jump to work my way down to it! glad your having a blast...just be carefull...i know i am.

yellow, i'm dave, i am in the air force (U.S.)and am currently living in germany and have been jumping for almost 3 years but only have 71 jumps so far. this whole military thing doesn't help with me being able to find close places to jump. hopefully that will change this year. just got promoted and that means more $$$$$ to jump with. not to mention i'm trying to buld a second rig right now. this summer is going to rock!!!
