i have a friend that made one of those jumps in russia! he was jumping up there a few years ago and they were drinking the night before and got to talking about making a "real man's jump" well he though they were joking....the next day they go up and jump from 100m. he sayes it was 60m for the chute to open and the rest to wait until the ground cme up.....syas it was scary as shit!....i think he's got balls of steel for doing it......but yet i'd love to do b.a.s.e. sometime.

well okay i'm not female but i do have an idea to try. you all were talking about how it slips down over your shoulders. well i'm partial to racers myself and they make a N.O.S. version of thier container. NOS stands for narrow over the shoulders. just an idea, give it a try. and yey, i know most people don't like racers bcause they're two pin reserves.

Cacophony, your on my shit list right now! how could ya mix up AIR FORCE with army? myself and joe take great offence to that. as well as all the ex-army guys we have here!.......(i hope ya know i'm just messing around with ya but do it again and i will get a little nutty over it)....... okay what jtval gets to go to is Airman Leadership School. it is a class that they make senior airman (the rank i just got and joe has had for a while(i'm guessing)) you learn all kinds of suporvisory things in this class. it is a requirment for being able to put on the rank of staff sergant(E-5). so ya just going through joe or do ya gota go through befor your line number comes up. never remember ya mentioning getting promoted. (my mind isn't what it was before the drugs). anyways, good luck, and don't work to hard, and great jumps aftrward....try and convert those cute female SrA to come out and make a jump!

hello, nice to finally see ya here. been hearing about ya for some time. welcome.......the wingnut will never fail to entertain (unless passed out drunk and then you can still point and laugh!)......you two are more than welcome to come visit in germany.

i just gassed up the jets, did the pre-flight inspections, got the weapons guys to load some of those "special weapons" (if you have to ask you don't need to know) and got the pilots on 24 hour alert. they got me sleeping in the aircraft shelter with my tool box and chemical warfare suit and i snuck in my computer and am running the internet from the planes avionics bay......we're ready to rumble...just say the word fff.........i volunteer to be part of the special sport parachuting division.....we jump in have a big boogie, get them all drunk, maybe a little tour of our superior planes (casa's and caravans) for the generals and see if they want to make a midnight pact of world peace and LOVE and be ruled by not the americans, or the british, or the aussi's but by the skydivers!

the truth? what is that. don't you all know i have 87,000 kumps and they were all on my 12 sq. ft. canopy i made from a bed sheet! now that's the truth.

these gals have way to much time on thier hands....plus they are all wrong.......canadians could never take over the world. they would melt when they got near the 40th paralel.

froggie, per kingy, you need some fat children for a propper plf! please find some and then you will land just find on some nice sqishy 8 year old!

if you think it's going to hinder you aplication why mention it... it's alot harder to fire you for skydiving than just not hire you in the first place........my empoyer on the other hand just makes me get a stupid letter signed and go to a stupid briefing about high risk activities...... if ya get really desprate for a job you could come work with me, as long as your under 28 and want to sign your life away on the dotted line, your hired!..........

skreamer, i understood you about the dates. i just wans't sure the june ones were for a wekend and was checking to be sure. i'll have to see about what weekend is good for me durring those dates.......

you know i'm up for it. i think texel is only a 6 hour drive for me. maybe shorter. (amsterdam is 4 hours).....how many central europe people do we have here? i know of only 5 i can think of: you, skreamer, mikeD, me, and jarno. jarno should be off student status by then hopefull, so he could join us.

carrie, those casa looking planes where probly c-130 hercs. they kick ass. i think you can fit like 70 jumpers in them, maybe more. where were ya at? there are a few a.f. bases in floria. eglin and tyndal. i think both are up near the pan handle though.............glad to hear ya had a good weekend without skydiving.... i didn't juimp this weekend either but had a good time putting a jigsaw puzzle togeter with my friend carrie here. it was interestingly fun. didn't know how much fun it could be untill now. befor i had always helped my dad put em together and it ws boring, but when you have a cool person to talk to (not saying my dad isn't cool) it is lots of fun.

froggie, your scaring me! i though before i read the post that i drank way to much, blacked out, hopped on a 8 hour plane flight (while still blacked out), had the time of my life and then flew 8 hours home and didn't rmember a thing.....then i read it.....man how disapointed can a guy get. :-) glad you liked it (the shirt)....i saw the frog (a cute little stuffed frog key chain with a scarf) while at a gas station in switzerland and though of you in the cold nj winter (it was mid feb. at the time). hope it compliments your collection of frog stuff! (guys you should see her frog collection, can we say she has had previous addictins to things before skydiving!)
