1 pointWhen I gave mine away, I placed an ad somewhere and said free for the taking. I had another skydiver pick them up. I couldn't bear to have them thrown away and am glad someone was willing to take them. I did keep the very first issue which may be a little rare.

1 pointIt’s been a great week for the Russian Navy then. A few days ago the Russians proudly announced they’d foiled a drone boat attack on one of the main Crimean dockyards. Today Ukraine released footage of one of those boats sneaking right up to a large Russian warship before exploding, and later spy footage of said warship listing extremely heavily with a tug attached.

1 pointEvidently Russian officers gathered together a day ago to celebrate Naval Day. Ukrainian caterers were chosen to prepare the best foods that Crimea had to offer. Two officers died immediately and 17 others were hospitalized. No word as to why Putin's caterer was not selected to host the upscale event.

1 pointYeppers, just as ordered. To all of our clever and smart Republicans who post here, are you not yet ashamed enough to change party affiliation? No? Well then please know that we who look at you will never consider you to be serious: just selfish and not patriotic.

1 pointFine, then read about it. But to be brutally clear I think you know exactly what I am discussing and are just pretending to not know.

1 pointObviously nearly two decades later but the highest recorded bail out (survived) was from a Canberra at 56000 ft in 1958. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/highest-parachute-escape

1 pointI remember reading that the Brits had a packing method that led to far less dramatic opening shocks, but that’d be less likely out of a Flying Fortress unless there was some info exchange among the packers. Wendy P.

1 pointRich people can always get what they want. But one shouldn’t judge a society based on how it treats rich people Wendy P.
