  1. Past hour
  2. Could you answer the question? Sure. You are consistent in your opinions and, consequently, not a LINO.
  3. Why aren’t prices going down? Could it be the persistent inflation is a function of the Democrat’s money party and not supply chain issues?
  4. I answered it. You just don't like the answer.
  5. I know that if (as an example) Trump were the one who was pro-choice, and the Democrats against, I'd weigh the damage that Trump could otherwise do very heavily against choice, because the country is a whole lot harder to put back together if its basic tenets are no longer generally respected (e.g. constitution, rule of law, law applying equally to everyone, depending on money of course) than if one thing that I find to be relatively heinous happens (state-by-state choice, which is the only really likely thing now). But each candidate would change the equation. And why do I say that? Because I hate those "make a choice so I can beat you up about it" questions. It's like asking someone if they've quit beating their kids yet, leaving no room between a swat and an actual beating. Wendy P.

    H5N1 warnings

Thanks. And I might start masking in more crowded venues again; this is a farming area, with plenty of both dairy and meat cattle. Wendy P.
  8. Public health message - avian flu (H5N1) is now spreading to people via cows. There have only been two cases in humans so far, but so many cows have H5N1 that more spread is pretty much inevitable. A recent test by the FDA found H5N1 markers in 20% of the milk sold in the US. It probably can't spread via pasteurized milk, but it does indicate how widespread the infection is in bovine populations. The next concern is spread from cows to pigs, since pigs are so similar to humans that the virus will have no problem jumping over. And if it can spread pig to pig, it will likely be able to spread person to person. Nothing you can do really at this point but I would advise that people monitor the course of this disease very closely, so that if a new vector is identified (i.e. handling raw bacon) you can quickly take steps to protect yourself.
  9. I don’t think you’ve answered the question. Simple: given there won’t ever be a perfect solution on which side would you err?
  10. They are going to do as little as they can do to help Trump win the election. And all they really have to do is delay the trial until after the election, at which point Trump can declare a state of emergency and cancel trials.
  11. I have answered this many times. Perhaps your fellow democrat; Bill Burr can elucidate my position more clearly . . . but, you know he's just one of them thar "Kennedy Democrats."
  12. Provocation Fridays….. This is the group to ask… If you care to share.. Have you ever had an interesting dream about Cooper or gone on a Cooper inspired adventure? In your dreams have you ever met Cooper? Have you met someone that knew him, a stew, a pilot, an acquaintance of his, or hey - even a spirit …? Have you ever dreamed you solved the case and found Cooper or that missing clue? In your dreams have you ever talked about Cooper with a spouse, an acquaintance, a fellow Vortex member? Has anyone dreamed on one or multiple specific case details in an unusual manner? Have you ever had sequential Cooper dreams day after day? If you could direct your dream to focus on one aspect of the case what would it be? How do you interpret any of these dreams? I'm sure more of your than just myself have been haunted in their dreams by this case...This is all for fun.. if you care to share. .
  13. What, you sign off with it once and now are sensitive about it? Well, no offense, but it seems true to me although you can change my mind by answering post #468 in the Abortion Commentary thread.
  14. Media, i.e. the facts, have always been a thorn in the sides of dictators. ANYBODY who uses the term or statement: "I don't follow main stream media" . Has already bought into the circus of disinformation. Hitler wasn't the first and won't be the last mass murder-genocidal dictator. But his willingness to slaughter millions of lower "class" Jews, Gypsies, etc.set a new standard. IMO Putin is a better comparison for trump because both seek to be klepto-dictators.
  15. "Wow, Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me." Think you can use MINO in a few more posts?
  16. They did the same thing with the ballot eligibility case when they said ‘well couldn’t any state remove any candidate on a pretext?’ as if there were no possibility of serious judicial review. I guess they simply assume the state courts are as partisan, biased and corrupt as they are.
  17. Good job of jumping on a superb opportunity to MINOize an important and poignant treatment of a serious problem in America.
  18. Yep. So many similarities. It's also worth noting that Hugenberg, Hitler's Rupert Murdoch, favored a form of media warfare he called Katastrophenpolitik - "catastrophe politics." He welcomed the inflation caused by the sanctions in the Versailles agreement, believing that an economic disaster would awaken the "Teutonic furor" that would let Hitler become their savior. This became their goal, rather than an undesired outcome. A plan that had some international support at the time, the Dawes plan, would have significantly lowered the reparations that Germany had to pay to the rest of Europe, and solved much of their inflation problem. But Hugenberg realized that that would calm the waters, and would run contrary to the goals of Katastrophenpolitik. So Hugenberg worked to torpedo the Dawes plan, in the hopes that a return to the economic chaos of 1923 would end the Weimar Republic and allow a new leader to step into the vacuum. It worked and the plan was rejected. This also worked to make the current president (Hindenburg) look ineffective. Troy Nielhs on the border plan that would have beefed up border security: "Let me tell you, I’m not willing to do too damn much right now to help a Democrat and to help Joe Biden’s approval rating." Their enemy was, of course, the rest of the media, who insisted on reporting (for example) that the Dawes plan was a good deal for Germans. Hugenberg's response was to start launching attacks on the "mainstream" German media, calling them traitors, making accusations about editors having sex with Jews and Poles, calling them biased, and generally filling the media with attacks that the mainstream media was forced to respond to, instead of (for example) reporting on the Dawes plan. Steve Bannon, 2018: "“The real opposition is the media. And the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with shit.”

  20. Hi Bill, I think that it was about 2015 when I first posted on here about the Third Reich & Trump. Jerry Baumchen PS) For some reason I cannot Reply to your OP. Hmmmmm?????
  21. So you're saying the punishment fits the crime. Stealing elections isn't a crime when by Caucasian evangelical birthright they already belong to you.
  22. If they go forward with immunity then in the US not all men are equal under the law, secondly it is a tacit admission that the justice system is deeply flawed and that you are not guaranteed a fair trial in the US as there are insufficient checks and balances. I’ve always been irritated by the phrase ‘Leader of the free world’ but it really annoys me a lot now that the US is a Banana Republic.
  23. Some people sit in county jail waiting for their trials. Other people try to steal presidential elections and barely get punished. It mostly depends on what race and especially class you belong to.
  24. He hasn't been... Yet. That's why I said 'crimes he's accused of'. A lawyer doesn't need to be convicted of anything to get disbarred. The Bar Association filed a complaint. That complaint went to a hearing by a judge (separate from his criminal trials) That judge agreed with the Bar Association and said he'll no longer be allowed to practice law in California. Of course, Eastman plans to appeal. The part I found amusing was that Eastman DIDN'T say he should keep his license because he didn't do anything wrong, or that the trial was 'fake'. He just wants to keep making money.
  25. I couldn't figure out how the SCOTUS was going to muck up the immunity case, but we got a pretty good preview today. They are going to drag this out and turn it into something undefinable and unachievable. trying to specifically define what is immune and what is not.... I thought the jury was supposed to do that? Trump enablers again, and one more chip out of the republic.....
  26. Remember when th right used to bitch about nothing so much as 'activist judges'? Now you can hear the conservative justices in real time trying to talk each other into inventing Presidential immunity out of thin air simply because they (claim to) think it would be a good idea.
  27. Newsflash - people lose their jobs without needing to be convicted first. Every. Damn. Day.
