self packing parachute...;)

I have one... As I flare, I land, and the canopy is pulled back into the container ready to jump again.

I am way too inexperienced to use it, because the danger is that at 500 feet I might pull a toggle down too far and cause the canopy to pack itself up, causing me to be forced to redeploy. I really should have 2,000 jumps to use it, so the guys at the DZ tell me I am going to get hurt. Major controversy.

(JUST KIDDING)

A rolling gear bag.

go to local dept store when they are having a luggage sale

buy a suitcase...depending on size of rig...I can fit all my stuff into a smaller suitcase but I jump a MOS Mirage G4

but even my odyssey J3K fit in the smaller size...

Cheers

A wind tunnel with a relative wind to practise my exits :)

We should invent the tunnel together, as I know I am working real hard on exits for 4way formations. There are 22 blocks and 16 randoms. It takes hundreds of jumps just to get practice on them all... Even with 10 or 20 training jumps per day, it takes a long time to practice them all and try out different things.

The design I came up with... I am too lazy to get out the CAD software and draw it.... But here it is in words.

Mockup about 8 feet above a pool of water. For DZs with plenty of extra otters, just pull the otter around and park it and crank up and engine to full. For those without the extra planes, you will need a few of those gas motor fans used to fill up hot air balloons. Maybe 10 stacked up.

The team climbs in the mockup door and launches the 4way chunk...

The part I have not figured out yet... How not to smash the tail. For an example on H (bow), the tail will have three other guys landing on him in the pool. Ouch...

how about a luxury skydiving cruise line?! Where there is a huge DZ right there on the deck, and helicopters or better yet a king air or an otter to have loads runnin all day. And when you get hungry you can just stroll down to the gourmet food buffets( which are availabe at all hours of the day or night). Want to go swimming? Sure and while your doing it you can watch the swoop comp while sitting at the bar located inside the pool! What about night life?! how about the top 5 DJs in the world there to spin all night long while you and your friends party the night away, only to get up and do it all again the next day! Thats my wish.......

>how about a luxury skydiving cruise line?!

They sorta do all that in San Carlos. (Heck, Laughlin almost qualifies there.) Take a bus to the plane (5 min) like they do in Eloy, jump over the hotel, land, pack in the casino, swim in the pool, go to the bar, stop at one of the restaraunts etc.

And in Laughlin you can set state records too! I've set two of them so far there.

HUGE landing areas made with very soft, bouncy something or other. So people don't fricking hurt themselves on landings. Even if you were to not pull you could live with maybe a broken leg or arm.B|
Drug that would make it so skydivers would NEVER make stupid decisions or mistakes.:S
I'm sure there's more...

A DZ with no overhead costs to offer free jumps, a maintenance free solar powered super Herc, work for free packers who also buy beer for all the jumpers at the end of the day, all major equipment manufacturer sponsor reps handing out any kind of gear you want, world class coaches paying it forward.... oh yeah and one of those swoop trainer thingys I saw in Skydive magazine a while ago.

And don't forget those rocket shoe things that Swedish birdman guy has.

And all the PST guys full time to do crazy shit in front of the hanger to amuse you when you're on the ground.

And a 50" plasma screen in the plane to watch your previous jump on the way to altitude for your next.

The possibilities are endless....:S
