So you are not going to wait and see what comes out? Or is running blindly into this your MOA?

HOLD ON A SECOND!
I FOR ONE <3 SLUTS!
BE NICE TO SLUTS!
Sluts need loving too!
And well unlike your normal dull girl sluts will do fun things that dull girls won't do!

Pissed ? probably. With Newt not being able to keep his dick in his pants during his marriage and then marries the slut , what would you expect from the X.

Henry VIII married 2 wives who were his sluts. He had each of them beheaded.

Gotta say that in my book that's better than just cheating and hoping she doesn't find out. (Which seems to be the standard.)

I gotta say, after a few years of marriage, you would have to have a pretty good idea if she's gonna play ball before you roll that option out.

well, a good indication you need a mistress is when she doesn't "play ball" enough to keep you happy......one would expect she'd welcome the vacation if she's not into playtime

I agree that is better. However my understanding is that Newt did both.

My personal thought is that this should be discussed and understood PRIOR to marriage. "Honey, I want to have an open marriage."
"Why on earth would you want that?"
"Nancy Pelosi is a hot piece of ass and I want to tap that!"
"But she's a Democrat!"
"Yeah. But she's just my stepping stone to Maxine Waters. Something about her just makes me sport wood."

My wife is hotter than your wife.

Agreed that that is best. Still, if you're already married to someone, I think it's always better to talk about things like extramarital sex before it happens (and before the other person finds out some other way.)

Well, we already know that he's not a believer in the 'till death do we part' commitment, so there's not a lot of reason to default to his side in an uncertainty. This is not a man who has any business talking about the institution of marriage...no more than Elizabeth Taylor should.

It takes a man with lots of balls to confront such a "handsome" woman and tell her that he wants to introduce a much hotter woman into the relationship. In my short 35 year life I've only seen two guys pull off this "Open" relationship thing. One guy is really fracking rich and well his wife doesn't give a dam. She gets off on buying shit. And the other guy....well he's all cock and balls lives near NYC and his wife is not big on going out so...he does and enjoys his time away.

According to Rush Limbaugh this afternoon, there is nothing new here. Marianne Gingrich supposedly released most of this expose' to Esquire Magazine in 2010.

Well, that makes it OK then.

Nobody wants to bash on Newt more than me, but I have to say that while his stand on the defense of marriage is completely hypocritical in light of the events of his private life . . . his private life is none of our business.

I agree his private life is none of our business, but the fact that he is a proven hyppocrit does have a bearing on my evaluation of him as a candidate.
For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

bullshit - the man is running for the GOP nomination with the stated intent to continue to prevent gays from marrying. That coupled with his hypocrisy removes any right to privacy on the subject.
