How is that any different than saying blacks that the same schools and bathrooms they are just separate from the whites? Or, saying that blacks can marry blacks and whites can marry whites, see they have the same rights.

So now we're back to the "separate but equal" theories that kept blacks in different schools, in the backs of buses, using different bathrooms and using different water fountains than whites. (Hey - if they have to sit in the back of the bus, they have the SAME rights as everyone else! They still get to ride the bus.)

And the only way to give them the same legal standing is to allow them to get married like any other couple. If their church chooses not to recognize it, that is between them and their church.
