BillyVance 34 #2 February 8, 2006 Yes, for one of my cars. 10 years old with 184,000 miles with a broken air conditioner. I could get more if I sold my rig than this car."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

Scoop 0 #7 February 8, 2006 It wouldnt have been but I decided to sell my car and buy a more modest model. Seems that driving fast and in comfort wasnt what I got my kicks from anymore Now got a smaller car that I put about 10 quids worth of a fuel in a week I try not to think of it as selling my car as I lost alot of money. More of an investment in a new part of my life (difference paid for my AFF and rig)

skytash 0 #15 February 8, 2006 my car is worth more, but my rig is better maintained and gets inspected way more often to ensure it's safe. Well, I've had my rig for 8 years now and it cost $3400 brand new, including the Cypres. crotalus01 0 #22 February 9, 2006 yes, no doubt. i paid $500 for my car (92 Thunderbird), paid $2,050 for my rig plus $500 for a suitable sized reserve - it came with a PD160 so i upsized to a 193 (wasnt comfortable jumping a reserve loaded at 1.4:1). and when you count the money for reserve repacks, cypres maintenance, and other minor alterations, my rig is worth WAY more than my car. i take better care of my rig too As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...
