Jetace1 0 #54 May 17, 2007 I'm still standing in the same spot in the kitchen where I was over an hour ago when Gareth told me. To try and embody all the thoughts, emotions, memories and stories here would be impossible. At the end of a training day, JP was always the last soldier standing with me in the kitchen of the Elsinore team house drinkin' a beer. The next morning, JP was the only person crazy/dumb/hungry enough to wake up an hour early just to have breakfast with me at Annie's before heading to the DZ. JP always ordered extra wheat toast knowing full well I was the one who was going to eat it. The last time I saw JP we were all hanging out at the Elsinore Casino pool. JP was picking up his girls and tossing them into the pool over and over and over and over...those little girls adored their Dad. JP, thanks for listening to me rant and rave about crap no one else cared about. Thanks for laughing with me when I dislocated my knee and everyone was freaking out. Thanks for letting me be there to see the uncontrollable joy and excitement on your little girls faces when they got in the wind tunnel for the very first time. Most of all, thank you for being you... Bobby Bobby - Onyx 4-Way Team www.onyx4.org "I thought you said you fall fast."

RkyMtnHigh 0 #58 May 17, 2007 You are so wrong! It was NOT his time...and it was not his choice...He was in the wrong mindset and prematurely took his life..he had much more to fulfill..he wasn't done with his divine purpose here... _________________________________________
lisamariewillbe 1 #59 May 17, 2007 I know me and you have our history but listen to me ... it had to have been his time because he is gone. His divine purpose was that he impacted people the way he did and now his purpose lives on but in a different form. As I type this to you I want to shout and scream and throw things because although what I just said is the truth I dont feel it either.Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

wmw999 2,334 #69 May 17, 2007 Deuce and his superman gear were one of the high points of the dz.com boogie I went to in 2002. He was a gentleman, and a good soul. I'm sorry his demons tormented him that much. My prayers are with him and his family. And my he loved his little girls. His pain must have been unbelievable. Deuce, you crazy fuckin window-licker, I am sorry that things got this bad and that you had to take the actions you did. Just know that you were an amazing man who a lot of people looked up to. That night around the beer truck at Eloy was probably the hardest I've ever laughed in my life. Thanks for all the stories... Fly free, JP.
