I have had two... one I rescued from a lady who lost her home during our bad hurricanes 4 years ago, (took her sugar gliders too ended up giving him to a squirrel rescue, becuase he was bonded with me and would bite the hell out of everyone else, even my kids, so yeah he had to go ) and the other I raised from a pinky... She got to be about 6 months old and was the coolest pet ever, my ex-husband took her to work one night and lost her.... I still havent gotten over that.... If you do go to a vet, plan on spending more then you would with a dog or cat. A good vet that doesn't know anything about "exotic" animals, will send you to some one that does.
