  1. Ahh yes but are they your socks?
  2. I have never done it to my knowledge and will never do it to my knowledge. If your jumping an out of date reserve then you obviously have enough money to get a repack! Plus I could never live with fucking up the career of the pilot, the rigger, or anyone else for that matter. Hoping to be a pilot in the near future I would hope that most jumpers at least would extend me the same curtesy.

Dude you should come to Australia... 14 to do a tandem and 16 to do a course Know what its like to be the youngest on the dropzone though.. always good going back to school on monday though.. you know other people gone to the movies a party or something... Ohh i just went skydiving you know.. the usual
  4. Sweet! Movie with a hot chick and birdman basejumping... i'll see that
  5. landing with the plane would have to be a damn weird feeling!! Was the last one in the plane on the last jump (closest to the door) so was kneeling for takeoff and have you any idea how weird it feels to be facing forward instead of backwards!! was damn weird!
  6. Chicks dig skydivers There's other reasons? You have any idea how good a conversation starter a skydiving t-shirt is!?!?! lol but honestly sheer fun and accomplishment will do it

    Post your rig

lol... umm why of course i havn't.... i haven't repacked the main and put it on every night when i got home either....
  8. When i was a little kid.. think bout 7-ish i was in a bank robbery (was in the bank and these dudes came in with coupla guns) and it never really effected me at all. Was scary at the time but afterward I was pretty psyced and its the best topic for one of those reflective essays you do in high school The think it'd usually depend on the kid. Alot of stuff bounces of kids backs in my opinion
  9. That would be very very sweet!!! Can't see that happening at my dz though.. the beer fridge is in an old shed probably built in 1960 that's falling down and has a minigold course (drilled holes in the floor) hidden under the coaches
  10. I'll admit that I am that person Nah I only ever use when i'm out cos pay phones are few and far between and at the dz cos otherwise i have no way of ringing anyone. But then if i don't wanna be rung i just leave it at home.. easy

  13. Voted for #2 but i don't mind #4 either... depends on the colours of your jumpsuit and all that as well i.
  14. short answer... because skydiving is the most fun and the most satisfying thing i have found to do Its the best feeling in the world!! I hope one day i can become a dz bum and just live on the dropzone to pack and jump.. that must be the best feeling in the world!
  15. sun = bad for rig!! Let it dry in the shade.. I hung mine infront of the central heating intake so air was going past it. Pook about 3 days to be COMPLETELY dry.
  16. Nice landing dude! Congratulations!!
  17. I am curious about how I'll feel when I start freeflying, however, since I notice a lot of FF'ers wearing their altimeter more on the meat of their hand, rather than centered like the ro-sapphire requires. Not that I freefly but for normal jumping I like to angle it forward so its kinda on the ball of my thumb but i'm thinking about getting one of those mounts that puts it on your wrist about were a watch normaly sits..
  18. those things are nutso!! i so gotta see one! its on the list
  19. gliding, paragliding, base jumping...hmm can't think of anymore
  20. I just check my alti with other peoples or depending where i am sometimes the pilot. My alti is a Ro - Saphire... i think... Was the only alti i could buy at my club and living in Australia don't really have that many options. An alti is an alti prettymuch as long as it works
  21. Ahh see now there's a true Aussie... always fighting for the underdog!
  22. Did my first jump at age 16 and 12 days. Other then the legal issues where you live i see no problem if they want to do it.

    MP3 Players

Yeah MD's the stuff I tried to get my md to skip.. ran up and down the stairs about 20 times before it skipped for 1 second when i colapsed and the thing then just kept on going.. You'd have to be fit as hell to skip that thing
  24. Hacky rocks! The reckon the thing that tires you out the most is the constant bending down to pick up the damn thing when you keep on dropping it. And getting it from the weird places you keep on kicking it... like off of the roof
  25. But then when you get it after the first bight you seem to start pushing it around the plate...
