Actually, if you have lost the eyepiece to your viewfinder the image will be upside down. Some viewfinders project the image upside down then use optics in the eyepiece to flip it. the same way your eye works. _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"

Agreed. I have to say that I am not a huge fan of tandem progression. mostly due to me. I find that unless there is a serious body position problem I will correct it myself subconciusly. ( the whole self preservation thing) I then deny that student any feedback on minor position problems because i dont realize it. I will admit it is a great way to ease into aff. I had a spinner on a monarch once due to a fired brake line with multiple line twists. I had it in my head that i could fix it. Not sure how this is even possible unless the j/m is in back sleeping. Therein lies the problem: slower deployment. students tend to panic when there isnt a parachute over thier heads. the faster it opens the better. Way back in the days of yore when I, an aspiring skydiver with 8 jumps and all the knowledge one can have, managed to get a hold of a old rig that along with racer sst, 5 cell strato star, and 26 ft round came a pc. I use this type of approach every time, It's not safe but there is more margin of error than a riser turn. Again not sure why you are out for 4 months but talk to the ppl at your dz when you do get back. im sure they will give you advise on how to do it and that you need more experiance under your belt before doing it. _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"
