Ok I vote for stupid question dumbass. You are second guessing yourself based on the belief that the jump would have gone fine. you don't know that. You also now know how catastrophic the engine failure was. At the time you didnt. How many times has a student done somthing on exit that took a couple tumbles to sort out. I have never jumped without lowers but ii brings in a whole new set of possibilitys. Dont talk yourself into thinking you made the wrong descision so that if it were to happen again you automatically jump without thinking about it. Bottom line is that everyone lived. so the descision you made was "A" right one. Perhaps you would have been fine if you jumped. perhaps not. It doesnt matter anymore. I love ya like a brother and would have hated to lose you that day. (I will never admit that in person even after you ply me with yeagerbombs) _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"

You mean you don't want to talk about getting 4 hours of sleep if your lucky and how to fake your log books? You mean the best way to avoid weigh stations? You mean talk about how companys will fire you if you don't run illegal hours? That kind of stuff you don't want to talk about in public? _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"

I am surprised that there arent more ppl saying their p/c was impeded when they fired it or are most ppl just sending them in to Strong without trying it. I know we videoed my ground deployment yesterday. there was a moment of silence after I pulled the handle before the holy shits started. my p/c never got out of the container. I for one do not understand how this mod got out of testing. from my understanding it is almost a 100% failure rate to launch a p/c from the tray. I am very dissapointed to say the least. I should know better than to fall for what I thought of at the time to be an inadequate solution to a non-existant problem. the flinger will go on the shelf right next to the catapult system from reflex. Bottom line is that in my mind there is no friggin way this system was tested fully. skydiving rigs should not be subject to "gimmicks" in order to try to get a leg up on the compitition. _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time" -

Your size isn't a factor. Big jumpers just need to buy big jumpsuits. I am 220 but I can exit as rear rear float or diver or base.. whatever I want to do because I have a large jumpsuit. It doesn't look pretty but I am never the one going low. _______________ "It seemed like a good idea at the time"
