Actually someone new just took over the Snack Shack. Prices are great and food is even better. It takes a little longer to get it but it's worth the wait. Yeah, Steve's doing a good job with that. You had me at food and beer. Just out of curiosity, Its been a while since I have been to the farm, bout how far is the nearest source of food? Trying to figure out if I should just pack a cooler full of sammiches. (hmm... better yet, who can I get to bring me said sammiches?) Depends on what you want. The "Snack Shack" is open on jump days and will make you hamburgers/sammiches/etc. If you want a sitdown restaurant, 10-20 minute drive. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

Since I just completed AFF a few months ago, the experience is still fresh. I remember the second jump being the most intimidating. Part of that was because my first jump resulting in a nasty opening, but most of it was simply due to the fact that I knew what to be afraid of. Easier to be scared of 14,500 feet when you've actually looked down from that height! Of course, AFF2 was a blast, and was the jump I decided to get a license on. I would give it a bit more time.

Makes sense to me. Being arrested doesn't mean you did something wrong. You're innocent until proven guilty by due process of law. True. The judge can keep record in mind when determining bail, but they won't (and shouldn't) presume guilt. It's part of the cost of having the legal system we do; the guilty do sometimes get to walk around prior to trial. But that's the only way to preserve the right for the innocent to do the same.
