Well I do know Robi and talked to him this past weekend, so it was first hand for me, I guess 2nd hand for you, and it for sure is finalized and will hopefully be available on the 20th as indicated. Robi is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. As for the "good for a first suit" question - I would have to agree with Ed in saying "hell no" this suit is "the next step" from an S3, so whatever skill set you'd need to fly the s3 you'd need for this suit.

That is literally unbelievable. I can't wait to see it with my own eyes. Any word on the fall rates that will accompany that glide, or is this still top secret? I don't know that any of that information is "top secret" but as with this type stuff it is one of those "yet to be seen" as some of the very best flyers haven't had their hands on this suit yet.

I'll look at what i've done over the past 40 jumps or so and do an average, for me it's around 125 seconds. This of course is if i've done a bunch of jumps that I didn't take the time to fill the actual data in on, i'll just put 125 seconds because its a pretty sure bet that i at least got 125 seconds.

I just (knowingly) met Dan about a month ago at hartwood.. Very nice guy and seemed super excited about flying loads at hartwood. And I was going to go to hartwood this past sunday but didn't for some wierd reason. My condolences.

I didn't seem to see anyone post about the ghostrider video which is found on birdman's website. God that is friggin hillarious! I know that the people who did that made an earlier skydiving short film didn't they? Some pretty good stuff.. probably took a long time to put together

I talked to Robert at BD and he said they are delayed, he did not specify a date. I was not at the seminar, but someone told me that Robert said he plans on taking orders by Nov 1st. Guess what though, I will place my order before you do

Well everyone has their recommendations so I have mine, William Linne 2830 Meadow Lane Falls Church, Virginia 22042 703-532-0709 www.varigging.com He does an awesome job. He has repaired a rib in my wing as well as done some pretty nice mods for the various experiments i've done.

How are you accurately determining how many feet you loose on deployment?

I seriously doubt anything is coming anytime soon. FBM reported in this press release that the PHI was cancelled when Robert left, and that was the closest new suit to production they had. So that means back to the drawing boards for something new. Birdman isn't one to just stick a crappy product out in the interest of time so.. if there are 2 new suits they are probably in the infancy stages at this point.
