Hi guys! I live in Vancouver, and I'm planning to visit ifly Seattle once per month. I'm a RW flyer and I looking forward to learn freefly. I need a coach (to begin from the basics) and someone to share block times with me. Thanks. Leo Holanda

Hi, I search this forum about how to delete my own DZ, but all the messages about this subject people ask for deletion and there is no answer explaining how to do this. The answers are always something like "ok. it's been deleted now". Leo Holanda

The point is not about if main ones are good or not. I'm sure they are perfect. The point is I have an idle set of reserve slinks at home and the set installed on my main soon will need to be replaced. Leo Holanda

So, why don't always use SR-1 instead of SM-1? Just beause they are a little cheaper? Leo Holanda

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I promise I searched for the keywords "s-link", "slink", "softlink", "reserve" and "main" , and there was nothing about this. I would like to hear experts riggers opinion about using slinks made for reserve to a regular (not tandem) main parachute like a sabre. I know if something is not made for another thing it should not be used. I just like to know if someone can foresee any malfunction caused by use for reserve slink on main canopies, and why. Hello Birdmen! I'm going to USA on july. Most of my flight were solo, except 6 of them. I would like to take this chance to practice flying with other skyflyers and maybe do some flock. Do you have any suggestions? Who should I look for? Blue skies! Leo Holanda Fortaleza - CE - Brazil Leo Holanda

I had the same problem. But I was able to fix by myself (not exactly a fix, but a "workaround" ). Leo Holanda

Hey! Wait! I depends on your mac! Most (if not all) Macs today, do not come with serial RS232 (DB9) port. They come only with USB and Firewire. My foretrex 201 is not USB! So I could not connect it to my mac, only PC. But, if your Mac has a serial RS232 port, that's all right. Although, if you have already bought the foretrex, you can transfer the data from the unit a PC computer (if you also have one), save the PLT file and then transfer the file for use on your mac... When someone ask me what wingsuit make and model are ok to do first ws flight, I used to mention some models from bird-man and Phoenix-Fly. Today, there a growing number of models and also new makes. I know that some models are best recommended for first flights like classics or prodigy, but some models does not represent a problem like GTi or Phantom. But there are some models there are really not recommended for first flight, like all Skyflyers (and s3, s3s, s6 gibr) and Vampire V-1. My question is: What other models and makes are really not recommended other than skyflyers and vampire? Leo Holanda

Are they going to release Phialis? hehe (Sorry for my previous misspelling... I cannot edit the post anymore to correct) Leo Holanda

Patrick Gayardon made the biggest radical design. The rest are merely performance and aerodynamics improvements and natural evolution. The most important is that we are able to fock together and longer no matter if you are using PF, BM or any other great performance suit that exists today. Thank you guys for the explanation. I'm using JVC DVM70u ([link]http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL006210&page=3[/link]). It was discontinued a long time ago. This was why it interested me: too many flockers using the same format, I was thinking that these expensive HDV were becoming standard. Thanks! Leo Holanda
