I would be amazed if the French asked the USA or any other country for help to quell some riots. This is not the first time there have been race riots in France and it won't be the last. I don't think any multi race country is imune from race riots. Way over the top punishment. catch them then put them into work groups to clean up each others grafitti. Say 20 miles worth the first offence then escalate it if they re-offend. make sure they do it at a weekend or when they have their leasuire time. Each time they don't turn up for cleaning up duty then lock them up for a week. They will get the message eventually. The Respect MP ridiculed the senators' claims during a hearing in May. Now they say fresh evidence links him and his estranged wife to Iraq's oil-for-food programme. Mr Galloway and his wife both deny the allegations. Mr Galloway said: "I am ready to fly to the US today... to face such a charge (perjury) because it is simply false." The US Senate committee claims to have found £85,000 in Iraqi oil money in the bank account of his estranged wife Dr Armineh Abu-Zayyad. The MP could face criminal charges if he is found to have given false testimony to the committee on 17 May. 'Smoking gun' During that combative performance he defended himself against accusations by senators that he received credit to buy Iraqi oil. BBC Washington correspondent Justin Webb said the latest developments meant the senators' confrontation with Mr Galloway had "reached a new and more serious stage". In December, Mr Galloway won £150,000 in libel damages from the Daily Telegraph over its separate claims he had received money from Saddam's regime. Have you asked any countries for any aid. How much foreign aid do you need and what type. Many countries suffer from catastrophes now and again and are able to deal with these events without the need for foreign aid other countries are not as fortunate and have to rely on foreign aid. Which type of country do you think the USA is. Would you rather rely on foreign aid or be self sufficient. Many of the people affected will need some sort of aid and help but most (ALL) of this will come form domestic charities and government agencies. For some people no amount of aid will bring back the people that they have lost. First time i've heard of this. Does anyone know if it is true ? Just because the technology is available it doesn't mean that it is being implemented. No they couldn't. But they could say what cars are parked outside the mosque and who the registered owner of the car is. |Then again they could also just read the license plate to find out who the registered owner is. More likely they earned enough cash from their £25M bank job they did last year they no longer need the guns to control the supply of drugs because it's peanuts to knocking off banks.
