  1. Hrm, well, I'm not a woman, but when I had my beer skydiving accident a few months ago, I got to the hospital and realized I was having one of my "boxers are constricting days." Made me remember that saying about how people's mothers always nag to wear clean underwear in case of an accident...

    Colored Toggles

Anybody know a good source to find neon green (or something close to it) toggles and/or risers? Been scouring gear stores all afternoon for a friend. Any help would be mucho appreciated. -- Hook high, flare on time
  3. Si, si, me gusta tacos y burritos.... alternatively, have you considered using homeowners/anyotherkindof insurance that migh cover it? Sony "service" really seems to suck. I have a PC-101 that's just out of warranty with the LCD screen issue. Pretty sure I have mine covered though -- Hook high, flare on time
  4. Well, how do you get to work?
  5. Yeah, but first they'd have to get Cypres' TSO'd -- Hook high, flare on time
  6. Doh... been too long since I've gotten sleep. Hrm, that kindof shoots the cheaper reasoning for getting an Astra, Paragear's price for Cypres is 900, Astra is 995. Not accounting for required maintenance -- Hook high, flare on time
  7. Can anybody point me to an online dealer that sells Astras? -- Hook high, flare on time

  9. I was wondering if they had it posted also, so I checked, and it is there. Not saying you're wrong, perhaps they just updated it. http://www.skydivekansas.com/policy_lic.htm -- Hook high, flare on time

  11. Hrm, interesting theory, though it seems a bit flawed... wait a few months and the container won't have such a long wait time? -- Hook high, flare on time
  12. Shit son, nice work, very impressive. Very depressing to watch after trying Premiere for the first time last night...
  13. HH did that to you on purpose.
  14. I think it would be cool to have an optioin to search for parent threads only, so the results don't have the same thread repeated 50 times b/c of replies. -- Hook high, flare on time
  15. I think that song is funnier if you read along with these lyrics heres a lovely little song from john paul young Love is in the ass everywhere I look around love is in the ass Oh shit, he's turning Chrome....
  16. Crap, mine did the same thing a while ago. I haven't sent mine off to get fixed yet, they didn't fix it as a warranty thing? -- Hook high, flare on time
  17. If not, click Here -- Hook high, flare on time
  18. Doesn't seem like it, I went there earlier today and just checked it http://www.2kcomposites.com/ -- Hook high, flare on time

K, just wanted to make sure you didn't show up at the airport with an 11+ year old passport expecting to go somewhere

Uhm, don't US passports expire after 10 years? -- Hook high, flare on time
  21. I still remember when I started flying at a DZ, I didn't understand how everybody got a thrill from doing it over and over again. I thought every jump would be the same, and that Relative Work was easy, just jump out and go to your freinds to make something that looked cool. And I didn't even know what Freefly was at the time (when I found out I thought that would be cake too.) I guess I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt now too, but I'm not just going to ignore the past -- Hook high, flare on time
  22. Also it would suck if something happened to the camera and it was replaced with a newer model, forcing you to start from scratch as opposed to swapping out a d-box and still having most of the camera stuff still set up. -- Hook high, flare on time
  23. But something I've been thinking about regarding the media coverage of the war since the beginning is about the mistakes the media makes in their reporting at times. Think back to how so many articles about botched landings etc come out as "Parachute did not open" and remember the distance from the truth to what was reported when getting information from the media. Just some food for thought, I haven't been able to figure out a good way to word this for a new thread, but figured it fit in alright here. -- Hook high, flare on time
  24. The PDF and JPG are the same, I couldn't just click to open the JPG either, but right click and save target as worked for me -- Hook high, flare on time
