  1. Bad Religion is pretty decent, bored prior? Who was supporting? Not that I'm even in the same continent...
  2. Piss Christ... Despite her wearing a studded crust punk jacket in one of her videos, lady gaga fans usually can't handle anything non-synth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcgLZzrAkbY Make it happen! It's totally cooler than the rest too... I also advise cubical diving. ;)

    Monogamy

Are you referring solely to polygamous relationships or number of parents in terms marriages in general relating to a single parent. Since the former would provide very little research numbers, I'll assume you are referring to the latter about parents in general. And in that case, my point stands unaffected. It is legal for someone to marry someone, remain married for a week, divorce and remarry a week later. And yet it is illegal for a polygamous relationship, which in many cases affect the children far less than multiple marriages after each other. Assuming that the polygamous relationship is a good one, and even assuming it isn't- it would put it on par with regular marriage/divorce.

    Monogamy

Because people always feel the need to interfere when it comes to others not living along the normal rules of society. Apparently kids are supposed to grow up with 1 father and 1 mother, anything else is not right! The term 'serial monogamy' is a good one, as people will talk about the devastating consequences of a child growing up with 2 mothers. But it's perfectly okay if they grow up with 5 mothers, as long as they all occur at different times. There is no logical reason as to 'why not'. It's a personal decision that which should all adults enter into with the knowledge of what's going on- is a victimless crime. But again, it goes against everything we were taught as children, and therefore it is wrong! Because only the most arrogant and evil minds dare stray away from our social teachings and question 'why?'.

I'm more into old hardcore punk like Minor Threat, SS Decontrol, Black Flag etc But I do like some street/oi! stuff But I listen to most punk: As I type this I'm listening to NOFX. Also into some new school hardcore stuff: Have Heart, Lewd Acts, Modern Life is War, Slapshot etc And then of course there is the hardcore/crust/d-beat stuff like: Piss Christ, Wolfbrigade, From Ashes Rise, Discharge.

    clubbing!

I loath the doof-doof. The only type of hardcore (in music) worth noting is the original hardcore... Hardcore punk.
  7. Very nice photo, I like how one can see the storm cell as an actual cell and not just as an overcast sky. Doing some storm chasing myself I've gotten a few lightning shots, though the attached ones were shot here in Cape Town, where there are between 3-5 thunderstorms a year. So pretty hard to get good shots.
  8. I loath the term agnostic, I'm fairly certain everyone that calls themselves one is either A) Doing it so as not to step on religious peoples toes completely or B) Because they are just fence sitters. Look, both Atheists and Agnostics are going to hell according to religious text, so I see no need to fence sit. But more importantly... Why would anyone want to call themselves agnostic? Maybe Agnostics don't get the whole Atheism thing. Atheism isn't about knowing 100% that no God exists, it's about being highly sure that no God exists. I'm going to use that analogy I've used to very many times, since it seems people didn't get it or missed it completely: I tell you that there are unicorns and faeries that live inside rainbows. And naturally if you aren't a complete retard you will disagree with me and state that there is no such thing. Now in this situation you would (I hope) be willing to state that logically you can conclude that there is no such thing, and because of your high certainty of it, you will state that it therefore, does not exist. Now there is no way you can tell me for sure, positively that there is no magical faeries and unicorns inside every rainbow since you are unable to try walk into the rainbow. You can't disprove my theory if I claim faith, since faith over-rules physics. Now that is an Atheist approach, you see something that makes no sense and is highly unlikely so you deduct that it therefore doesn't exist. You don't say to me "Well you know, you could be right... In fact I don't think I'll take a stand on any side since it can't be proved or disproved", or if you did- you would be an idiot. Now it's exactly the same thing for religion. I know I don't know all the answers to everything, and I know there is no way of disproving a faith since they can always bend science around it. But I've come to the conclusion that there is reason enough for me to deduct that there is no God. So sorry to bust your bubble, but if you're like 99% sure there is no God, you're an Atheist (Nobody can be sure). As my analogy above points out, you don't need 100% proof to conclude that something doesn't exist. As for 'where did everything come from if there isn't a God'. That's a silly pattern of thought, there are countless theories, and most of them make more sense than a magical being in the sky. Whom should I remind you, if you want to have the idea that everything needs an origin- wouldn't exist either. You can't believe God has always existed while matter is incapable of always existing.
  9. The site was for the most part sold to Name Media. But while Name Media owns majority of the site, we at D4DR Media are the still the ones who remain active on the site in regards to moderation, content and pretty much most of the site. Name Media primarily only handles the ads. For what it's worth the site hasn't changed much at all. While Sangiro's direct involvement in the forums may seem to have gone down a bit, what I do on the site either comes from him or myself. I'm not a Name Media employee ;)
  10. Had you not added that last bit I fear this evening there may have been a few extra men getting an unexpected surprise in bed tonight :|
  11. Sometimes sacrifices need to be made in the name of love(making).
  12. Thanks for the heads up. I've begun adding Liquid Sky products.
  13. Yeah, it definitely doesn't rule everyone out. It just allows to gain an idea of where to be looking for the issue and to narrow it down a little bit.
  14. Well one thing you could do to see whether it's hardware or software related is take a screenshot of it and save the JPG. If the taskbar is still being covered by random stuff then it's likely a software issue. If the taskbar is appearing as it should in the screenshot and not how you see it then it's more likely a hardware problem. Though to add, I also recall my GFX card doing something similar once, but that was on a desktop PC. If it's hardware related it's either a wiring problem to the screen or a problem with the graphics I'd say.
  15. Just throwing this out there... I have more site powers than the moderators... And I can make myself green at any time..
  16. This study pleases me. Though it's no secret that ignorance is key in religion. Follow that what you're told to, accept it as correct and ignore all the other possibilities.
  17. Please note we are currently having an issue with one of our servers. If you are experiencing errors or time-outs please note that this is an issue we are aware of and in the process of rectifying it. Refreshing the page several times should solve the issue temporarily.
  18. It's funny, people have animal slaughtering events for the control of a species, yet humans are the ones that pose the largest risk to the planet and have the biggest population control problems. If any species really needed to be controlled for the sake of the planet and nature it is humans. Instead we have decided that we should rather control nature around our needs and dictate what is okay to kill and not. Mandatory sterilization for 95% of the world's population, thanks.
  19. The police make me sick... People that support them will be going "But the police said what the officer in question did was true!" Police will lie for each other over and over again. Don't expect to find a cop that will speak the truth if the truth means one of their own getting into trouble, they're few and far between. By fighting in World War II that man is more of a hero than any of those frat-boy mentality cops. You don't need a troubled area when there are police around. They'll be able to turn any situation into a bad one. If the policeman in question was unable to subdue a man of that age in a more peaceful manner he doesn't deserve to be a cop anyway. My bet is that the old man went and gave him some verbal abuse and the cops ego got hurt and he needed to show his fellow officers he is in fact still a 'real man'.

    Web Cams

It's very possible to use it as a security camera but your only problem will come in terms of data storage space. You could use it as a security camera right now by opening a program like Skype, opening the video settings (Which brings up a display of the camera) and then using screen capture software to record that area. The general problem is that most programs record uncompressed, meaning you're probably looking at about 1gig per minute that will be stored onto your hard drive. So you need a huge hard drive if you plan on recording activity and even then will need to erase it each day. If you're looking for remote webcam software, just so you can log in at any time and view what's going on that's a lot easier and while I don't know any names of software I know there is plenty of software that allows it and that many of them work perfectly... Not that the idea of ever remotely accessing anybodies webcam has ever crossed my mind PS: In regards to being accessible by other people. You just need a piece of software that requires a login type action and then generates a code/password to be able to view the session of the cam. But there shouldn't be worries if it's a trusted piece of software... That said... Someone can gain control of your webcam probably just by phishing you to open a certain page on a website. Commence paranoia.
  21. I'd at least support a special jail for them then. Considering if you're a pedophile in most jails you're either constantly raped, tortured or murdered. And since they're seen as the scum of the earth, no one really cares about what happens to them in jail.
  22. Hrm... I have pity on them considering it's not a choice and it's the way they are. I am aware it's no choice and that they can't control their desires. Which is why I'm against the public "KILL EM ALL" attitude towards em. I agree they should be removed from society to protect children. But I also think that more effort needs to go into trying to rehabilitate through psychology. And more effort needs to go into trying to find ways to cure it, many diseases were thought to have no cure until people studied them more. Less of a tar and lynching attitude towards them and more pity. Many of them kill themselves because of the way they think, they hate the fact that they can't control it and don't want to be like that. Maybe a big island in the middle of the ocean would be a nice place to send them all to.
  23. No sicker than the videos of kids smoking cigarettes. But equal to it, definitely. People are idiots.
