Okay, just my $.02. It's prolly not a good idea for you to be jumping a camera at only 100 jumps. Just my opinion, but being as safety is the #1 concern, I'd hate to see you jump a fully elliptical canopy like that Crossfire2 (which IMHO also isnt a hot idea at those jump numbers) and get it snagged on your camera helmet and you not be able to have the skills needed to react quickly and appropriately. My personal advice: Take your time, be safe. All of the cool "I'm a freeflyer and need to jump a camera" stuff will come later, along with those swoops and carves. It's better to jump something simple while you're learning, and move up slowly, and live to jump tomorrow, then jump on a high performance canopy with a camera and get killed. not slamming, just trying to look out for you buddy. I could probably qualify for this award, that is, if I liked golf. Few years ago, back in my student days, I went through my ground school after doing my 4 tandems. During this time, we did practice stuff on the ground with throwout pc's, naturally. When I did my tandems, I had a ripcord. Big difference between the two. Well, we got in the air, the dive couldn't have gone better (really it was great, i have video) until pull time. I grab my pilot chute, and for some stupid reason, think "ripcord". That's right kids, I held onto my pilot chute. No shit, there I was, thought I was gonna die, with nothing above my head, thinking I had a total mal. I let go of the "ripcord" to go for my cutaway and POOF, canopy. Needless to say, I was the ass of more than a few jokes on the ground, and I always tell new students now "Trust me, you could have done dumber things."
