"Seemed interested" doesn't mean that she's at all interested. It could mean that she was just being friendly, or liked you as a pal, nothing romantic. My experience is that men get that wrong all the time. Maybe it's their wishful thinking: "she doesn't spit on me or curse my name, so she must be in love with me!" There are many grades between love and hate. I've had people who I thought were just friends suddenly tell me that they loved me. And some women are just naturally flirty and it will seem as if they like you when they don't. It can seem promising when it's actually not. You should take this into account.

The landing area is good. I've only jumped there once, but the landing area was really nothing to worry about. The town is really not where you want to land, and there is a couple of big roads, but you'll get advice on that from the DZ staff. It can be windy as this is close to the sea, but just don't jump if you're uncertain about the wind. Bring your licences, logbook and proof of insurance (more on that on their website). They all speak english, it's warm and nice there, and the food is delicious. I stayed at a hotel close to the DZ and there was all walking distances to everything, to the grocery store, restaurants and even to the BEACH. Run along and have fun, now! When are you going?

I used to think that all skydivers were crazy, just like the BASE jumpers. I grew up in the eighties, so I remember the news being full of pretty horrible work accidents on the rigs in the northern sea and pretty horrible BASE accidents in the Troll Wall. So I decided early that I would never work in the northern sea, and never do a parachute jump. And then I grew up, and a friend of my boyfriend started skydiving, and I saw him land his big Hornet, and instantly knew that I wanted to do that. But I still think that skydivers are crazy. Places where forest has just been chopped down do not make good landing areas for parachitists, even if they look nice and smooth from the air. They are small, lightweight drafts, bred for work in agriculture and pulling carts, but can also be used for riding. Fjord horses are good in terrain, and some are good jumpers. Only Icelandic horses for me! And I think it would be a little far sending them to Norway from Montana. Quarter horses do fetch quite good prices over here, people want to get into "western riding" and think that that can only be accomplished with a quarter horse. But people generally pay more for what they think is exotic. You don't get good prices for fjord horses over here, even a well trained one, while in the USA they are "rare" and "exotic". Biosphere, The Opiates, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Filur are some of my favourites right now. This is all electronic, some of it is ambient (Biosphere), some of it is pretty noisy(Venetian Snares) and some of it is just pop (Opiates, Filur). I also like Beady Belle: Viscous Ocean, I'm not that enthusiastic about the rest of the album, though.
