Speaking of blood donations, I went to donate blood last week for a Brevard County Deputy who was shot and in need of blood. I just found out that I am banned for life from donating. I just had a slammer two days ago. I have not had a hard opening in the last 200 or so jumps before this one. I got bruises on the front of both shoulders, legs and it really hurt my back and sternum. Here is a video I shot with Norm in action last weekend. He is the one in the light blue jumps suit with the yellow grips. I hope I can fly as well when I am in my 70's. The last time I jumped at Titusville (around June) you had to have a C license unless you did your AFF there. They are pretty much a tandem operation that allows some fun jumpers on the plane to fill it. I could jump at any of the five DZs but I prefer to drive the hour and half to Z-Hills. Great event well worth the entry fee. I thought Roy did a fantastic job organizing. I can't wait to see the video. It was great to be back jumping at the place I learned to skydive 13 years ago. Raeford is still just as friendly today as it was back then. After the big ways I got invited on a great four way out of the PAC, a nice way to end the weekend. Yeah, they are hardcore. When I went through jump school in 1991, the SEALs got in trouble for climbing the 250 foot tower and hanging a SEAL flag the night before we started tower week (the second week). A sad day , I remember it well. On another note, I just heard the PBA is looking for skydivers (Cops) with over 200 jumps and who have the ability to raise $1000.00 to be a part of a 25 way RW jump with the money going to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial fund.
