  1. Oh, and you might want to call both places before you go out.. just to make sure them fires aint stopping the jumping. I heard it was pretty bad a couple days ago. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  2. I'll be at elsinore tomorrow, so you should go there. I won't be able to jump with you until you get your A, but defidently willing to jump once you get it! besides that, Elsinore is just.. cool! CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  3. the funniest kid far story i have witnessed was eating at a steakhouse, and the little boy at the table across from mine was moving around, and under the table.. cuts a loud one, and loudly announces.. Daddy I stepped on a duck!! CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720

  5. I think that if they are mandatory, it will prevent some people from being able to afford jumping. I just bought my rig; and without an AAD, because it was out of my budget. prior to getting my rig, all the systems i jumped had one, and i used them. Funny thing is, once i put my rig on, with no AAD, i was, and still am WAY more aware of what is going on around me, and paying attention to altitude, yes, i have 'lost awareness, but none that was anything close to putting me past 'danger' . It is unfortunate that i cannot jump at SDSD because i do not have over 1000 jumps and an aad. thats life, i will just continue to jump elswhere, and probably never visit san diego, even after i get one. I vote for it to be personal choice. I think that requiring them is a huge slap to the face to those jumpers who lived through times of no aads, and to todays standards, questionable gear. I thank all of them, because without their willingness to jump, i wouldnt be able to experience the tranquility of skydiving. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  6. Because they always seem to fall in a perfect sitfly when they jump off or fall off cliffs/buildings of any kind. makes me wonder why i am having so much trouble doing it! CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  7. make sure thata 210 will fit in the container before you get it. I would keep the 190, you'll want to jump that size eventually. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  8. One thing to think about, is your adrenaline will probably be punping, and lessen the cold feeling. wear gloves, and warmer undergarments and you will be fine. and since it is a tandem, if your hands get cold.. just tuck them in your pits when you are under canopy. ... I must say though, it is defidently fun when your fingers fel like they are freezing in the toggles... and they defrost as get closer to the ground.. ohhh, how i love sunset hop&pops from the top! 16. this is pathetic! insanely rediculous. whats next, no running in PE? sorry kids, you must run the mile in under 13 minutes to pass the national fitness test, but you can't do any physical work during recess that would allow you to gain the muscle stamina to do this task. sorry kids, don't want you to sue! ... words can't even describe how disgusted this kind of thing makes me. 18. Probably a repost, but i didnt see anything on a search.. was watching national geographics, a show called most dangerous moments. Granted, the story was on that richardson girl, and i know about all the drama involving her double mal... but, i thik the show did a good job not making the sport look bad, even saying that statistics of a fatality are very low. Kudos to you National geo! CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720

  22. huh? excuse my low jump numbers, and time in sport.. but i am a bit confused at how, if the pc caught the airstream, did only the dbag get in a burble? Wouldnt the pc pull it up and out to linestretch? someone please educate me, because this really confuses me. And props to you for keeping a cool head and getting a canopy there... I'm curious, with the dbag just thumping around on your back, Did you have line twists? CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  23. ask him if he drives a car, if he says yes, tell him to go see a psych, about his death wish on the freeways and such. haha. just don't let reactions like this get to you. everyone has their own opinions, and they will never change. all you can really do is nod and smile. ... I've gotten negative reaction a few times, but mostly people are in aww by the fact, . yes, i do get the 'perfectly good plane' statement a lot, but after i explain to them the fun, excitement, and equipment i use.. they let up a little bit. mostly, they want to try a jump some day.
