Did they ask you if you had insurance or if you would be paying cash? Often times (with medical in the USA) there are two different prices and it applies to providers, procedures and medications. This is due to insurance providers only paying X% of whatever the bill is. I met Pete a few years ago at a early morning antenna jump. After my first jump I grabbed my second rig and went up for a second; that's when I met Pete. After we both landed, I told him that we (my buddies and I) were going to get some breakfast and asked if he wanted to go. My fiance had a kick ass dream last night. She said she was doing an AFF jump (not as a student but as the instructor) and that when she landed she did a 360 and had a kick ass swoop. I was surprised by a few things. First - she's not AFF qualified; in fact, she's never even done a single jump. I believe if you aren't currently jumping you shouldn't be on this site because after time you will forget things and give outdated advice let me give you some advice...most of these folks that "aren't currently jumping" have seen more shit than you can probably imagine, done more jumps than you probably ever will, and lived through several severe changes in the sport. that makes them more than qualified for them to give YOU, me and a lot of other people advice. in aviation (and that's kind of what skydiving is), you learn from case studies; best case studies are those that people survived. thanks, but i'll take their advice over yours just about any day of the week. wait, just to be more clear, EVERYDAY. First off neither one of you should even be thinking about free flying.... you need a lot more belly jumps. they need to do this why? because belly jumps make for a good freeflying foundation? hmmm...i always thought backflying was a better tool to have. i started freeflying right off AFF...even before my A. in fact, i can't belly fly to save my life...but i can freefly half way ok. what was this magic number you transitioned from your "all important" belly discipline to freeflying?
