  14. >You have to do what was mentioned in a previous post and put a switched outlet in, then plug those under counter lights into them making sure you don't bury any of the zip chord behind the drywall. yep- plug in is how those lights are designed as per my official suggestion earlier. but Billy wants those suckah's recessed. As long as they are made to be screwed onto a standard ceiling box like a standard light fixture then it is possible to wire them inside of a box as per the drawing BUT Zip chord really is not designed to be connected in a box either however the insulation on most standard fixtures you buy in the hardware store is not any better. IF they are not designed to screw directly onto a UL box then he must use the surface plugs and can hide the wires surface mounted behind a trim board like on a standard kitchen shelf as long as they are not enclosed in any way. that is how shelf lamps are designed to be used anyway. The wiring method I submitted is for standard box mounted fixtures if that is in fact what they are. Billy- what's the make and model of those things, or where did you buy them maybe we can pull them up on the screen.? Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  15. What most of us are saying is that romex should be behind drywall stapled to the framing every four feet and six inches from any box. And indoor zip chord (supplied with lamps) should be surface mounted and all plugs plugged into an exposed outlets properly wired inside of a flush mounted outlet box with a cover. All wire connections need to be inside of accessible UL junction, fixture, or outlet boxes with covers. No connections (not in a box) or zip chord shall be behind drywall Romex shall not be in conduit. we'll get this solved safe and working for ya one way or another buddy.

  20. Conduit- As far as I know THHN is the correct wire to use in conduit, not only does the electrician have to consider amperage rating of the wire but also the temperature rating of the wire insulation-and the abrasion resistance while the wire is being pulled through conduit- Wire inside of a conduit has to be rated for higher heat because conduit retains more heat while juice is running through the wires. 23. Oh I do not plan on taking any of these drugs, and I think it is funny that the study you listed has determined a reduction in avg. symptom duration of .9 and .7 days...if this is true- clearly a pathetic performance for such widely recommended remedies. These companies also claim a preventative benefit to taking these drugs.-Anyone have independent clinical studies of that claim? Personally I would like to see a study focused on the correlation between annual sales profits and the actual clinical effectiveness of all widely used pharmaceuticals Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. 24. Turn the page Now that Roche holdings have gone public, here we are dealing with another animal mutated human virus with H1N1. No nefarious connection but it's funny how the supply of vaccine is so sorely lacking. Also it seems that Glaxosmithkline the makers of the antiviral Relenza also manufacture a vaccine for H1N1 yet the production of that vaccine across the board is sorely behind schedule. Seems as though both have a fortuitous stockpile of drugs to counter the effect of the flue though...interesting How many people think this virus is a Roche or Glaxo share buying opportunity? Anyone think there is a nefarious connection between paltry vaccine supplies and booming anti viral drug supplies? http://www.smartmoney.com/investing/stocks/drugmaker-roche-gets-a-booster-from-h1n1-fears/?cid=1186 http://www2.chinadaily.com.cn/bw/2009-11/16/content_8974951.htm Roche IS making donations of the drug available to nations like India however. Who here has a bottle of Tamiflu or Relenza already in possession at the ready? Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
