  3. Mich. plane crash kills survivor of earlier crash By JEFF KAROUB, AP Sat Jun 25, 2:17 PM EDT A colleague says an Indiana pilot killed in a plane crash in Michigan had a passion for flying that propelled him back into the cockpit after a crash nearly eight years ago that killed his wife and two children. Dr. Stephen Hatch and his current wife, Kim, died Friday evening near Charlevoix in a crash that left his son, Austin, in critical condition. Dr. G. David Bojrab says Hatch and his son survived the 2003 crash near Fort Wayne. He says they were returning from their summer home — the same place they were flying to Friday when the single-engine plane flew into a garage near the Charlevoix Municipal Airport. A federal investigation found Hatch partially responsible for the earlier crash, but Bojrab says his friend disputed that.
  4. Shaved a few things too. And I do not mean backs or faces...
  5. I heard it was a hit that was paid for by some dirty cops. I think the rat was framed.
  6. Bruce Springsteen pales in comparison to the talents of the boys in the band. So long Clarence, thanks for all the great music, you really knew how to play.
  7. Thanks, pretty much what I am finding elsewhere, damn REI is expensive. I need to call Jon and see if I get the "super secret squirrel government discount"
  8. Just luggage, no weapons or expensive stuff, mostly soft sided bags. I sure wish I knew where that Swiss Gear bag was purchased, I looked at hundreds of url's and no luck
  9. I am looking for a roof top cargo bag for our VW Tiguan. I saw a Swiss Gear bag that looked nice and see that there are others like Highland and Thule $$$. Any suggestions? I cannot find that Swiss Gear cargo bag no matter where I look. I should have asked the people who had it.

  16. Offer her some insight on training the dog, be nice and she will probably take the advice as it is probably driving her nuts as well. My dogs don't bark that much, but when they do, Tyson makes my ears hurt.
  17. Major threat aircraft back when, IIRC it could also transport 300 troops and vehicles as well.
  18. Happy birthday! I am sure someone will make it so,

Well that makes two of us!
  20. I am thinking in excess of 85mph. The bear must have torn their upper torsos off, at the very least from the clavicles up. I doubt they ducked.
  21. 2000 A6 Quattro 2.7T is a biturbo and very nice, very fast. It feels so good to drive it that it makes other cars feel like a POS. Over 180K on it and it got a cracked F pipe and the pressure dropped so it at one of the cams (4 of them) That takes pulling off the front end, dropping the subframe and pulling the engine and transmission, then repairing it, then putting it all back together. If it were not for the subframe I would have done this in my driveway.
  22. OTTAWA (Reuters) – Two Canadians died instantly in a freak accident when a car hit a 440-pound (200-kg) black bear and sent the animal flying straight through the windshield of an oncoming vehicle, local media said Wednesday. The bear's body hit the 25-year-old driver and a 40-year-old man sitting behind her and then shot out of the back window. The bear also died. The accident happened Monday night in a rural area about 25 miles north of the federal capital Ottawa. "We don't see (this) often, even if we live in the country. Lots of deer, but collisions with a bear and two people died? That's really rare," local police spokesman Martin Fournel told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Collisions between vehicles and animals are common in Canada, which has a healthy population of large wild animals such as moose and deer.
