  1. Some good Australian and New Zealand shows too. Mystery Road is great. Two seasons and each season cover a single crime. Miss Fisher is lots of fun too and takes place in 1920s Australia. Light at times which is not a bad thing. Brokenwood is a New Zealand production and is also very good. Episodic so you dont need to binge. My Life is Murder is great and a fun way to pretend you are in Melbourne.
  2. I have a friend who broke his leg mountain climbing about 7 years ago. He had a titanium rod inserted through his knee. He has no pain in his leg now and it seems fully healed. However he has a host of other ailments (primarily extreme fatigue) that he is attributing to poisoning from the titanium rod. Has anyone had their hardware removed after their broken leg was fully healed? Has anyone else suffered from fatigue after their rod was placed in their leg that never went away? I have not heard of titanium poisoning and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing. thanks for thoughts
  3. Sounds fun.... but how does that kill the moles?
  4. Thanks for the knowledge everyone, good stuff.
  5. I just forgot to put the A after the F. Lots of knowledge ensued though so cant say I have any regrets. Legit question, the F-16 and F-15E can also attack ground targets but are not designated F/A, any reason? Or is that like saying an A-10 with a sidewinder is a fighter? Which its clearly not designed as. Either way, I thought the video was very cool and can only once again say those pilots are awesome.
  6. Not sure if this is an F-18 or the electronic warfare variant but the video is cool as hell. Wish I had good eyesight and the stones to be a fighter pilot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qf_hdFSnOEI&feature=player_embedded
  7. Whoops! My apologies. Winnipeg. As someone who owns a "Canada Kicks Ass" T-shirt this was doubly troubling. Season starts tonight!!!!
  8. Rangers will either win the cup or come in 9th in the Eastern conference. Stoked for Winnepeg and their fans. Would like to see the Oilers make the playoffs, some really exciting talent on that team.

  11. "Do some research on all of those - you have a lot of homework to do to become informed on this subject." This is why I was asking. I have never bought a gun. I really do appreciate the response. What is the objection to putting rifle or handgun purchases into a database? First off Very few (if any) crimes have been solved or leads given by a data base Second It is the first step toward confiscation. As history has proven *** Are you speaking specifically of a weapons database? If you mean databases in general I cannot agree with what you are saying. Fingerprint databases, financial transaction records, license plates and a host of other databases have been used to convict criminals. When has a weapons database been used in the past to take people's guns?

  13. It would seem to me that if you limit the purchase to one assault rifle a month? you could lower the amount of weapons being used to slaughter people in mexico. depending on which stats you believe anywhere from 90 to 10 percent. Why cant we do this? thoughts?
  14. Why do people need to buy assault rifles or any gun in bulk?
