I have to get them when I have the opportunity. This is the first time I've been home in two years and I'm trying to pack as much into this trip as possible. as far a superior officers, there may well have been only one that knew about this and that was the captain of the ship, and he certainly would know about this and just may not have cared. i haven't looked into it, but i'm guessing that he's retired since we haven't heard anything about him. this type of video and this type of humor is simply just not a big deal aboard a ship at sea and it's very likely that it was the furthest thing from the captain's mind whenever he was communicating with his boss. garmin is great. we have the forerunner 405 and love it. i also have a suunto x6hr that i love as well. i've had excellent customer service from suunto as well. I recently sent in a 6 year old watch to be fixed and they just replaced it even though it was well out of warrenty. they even sent me a box to ship it to them in, so i didn't even pay shipping.
