for years i've heard about how great macs are. everyone i know that has one tells me how great it is. everyone says there are no problems with them whenever someone on dz.com asks a pc related question, someone will quickly point out that the problem is that it isn't a mac. i got a macbook pro yesterday. it loads web pages so painfully slow that i can't even use it for internet. right now i'm having to use a dell and internet explorer to get online. hopefully its just some setting somewhere that can be easily changed, but so far it seems that all macs aren't the trouble-free dream machines all the apple juice drinkers claim it is. it looks like it has 2 hard drives. one is labelled OS(C:) and has 49GB of 74.5 GB free and the other is labelled DATA(D:) and has 208 GB of 208 GB free. it seems odd to me that there would two hard drives in a laptop. is it possible that there is one hard drive that is partitioned to look like two hard drives? it also has an AMD Turoin X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-75 2.2 GHz processor and 4 GB of RAM. it doesn't seem to me that there should be a problem surfing the internet. i have an asus laptop (big mistake) that i want to use almost exclusively for internet. it came with a shitload of crapware that i can't get rid of and asus won't give a clean copy of windows 7 so that i can do a clean install. it locks up often and sems to get bogged down very easily. i have to delete temporary internet file multiple times a day. i can't even watch streaming video with it without the video being very choppy, while an older slower laptop i have works fine. i do have a copy of widows xp i could put on it if i were to reformat the hard drive, but would it work? is there something in the asus motherboard that would keep xp from working? it is 64 bit. i don't even know what that means. what is the best way to strip this thing down so that web browsing is faster and better? btw, i've scanned it for viruses and spyware. after finally figuring out how to get the alarm clock on my droid eris to work, i can't turn it off. no matter what i do it goes into snooze mode. for the last hour and a half it had gone off every 10 minutes. i've googled it and can't find anything. anyone know what to do? i realize that i can get it to stop now be just going in and deleting the alarm, what i want to know is what to do when it first goes off in the morning. not quite, my crack is the last thing to get scrubbed with the wash rag before it getts rung out and tossed out of the shower. only after that do i bring out the poof. even then, the poof doesn't go into the crack. cheeks yes, crack no. sometimes i'll give the boys a second washing with the poof though, not because they need extra cleaning, but because it just feels nice. i use both. after scrubbing my face with a wet washrag, lather up the rag with bar soap and scrub my goodies, feet, and then ass crack. from there i use body wash and a poof. i don't care how gay it is (not that there's anything wrong with that), the poof feels good. its even better when the wife showers with me and scrubs my back and buttocks with it. she likes the way i smell after using vanilla scented body wash, so thats what i use. i drove up mt evens once and saw some people gringing their wat to the top. i thought they were bat shit crazy. i must now be bat shit crazy now because its something i want to do. up until now i've done all of my riding in florida. now i'm in upstate new york and it all hills.
