  1. I remember hearing a test that icarus did and they concluded that orange was the color that was the most vulnerable to UV radiation. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. THIS WEBSITE IS AWESOME!!! Na' Cho' Cheese
  3. I hate how gas is so high. I do drive a fuel efficient car (32MPG). Na' Cho' Cheese
  4. I basically have the same setup. The only things I do differently is that I don't have velcro securing the pocket. I feel that its unnecessary and the velcro makes stowing way more difficult. I also have the stabilizer mod so that the bridle pulls equally from both sides of the bag. I like it because it almost eliminates line twists, the ease of stowing lines, and you don't have to replace as much rubberbands. Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. I don't think the slider is as rocket science as some people make it out to be. I've used the same small RDS slider from a Xaos 68 all the way up to a Sabre 150. No major ill affects. Na' Cho' Cheese
  6. I think it might be better not having 2 canopies out at the same time. Na' Cho' Cheese
  7. I could use a ride from PHX to the dropzone. I'll be getting in on Friday (18th) at 4:30. I will obviously pay for gas. Let me know if you come in near the same time and we can split on shuttle service. Na' Cho' Cheese
  8. The manufactures just need their asses covered. I would assume that aggiedave weighs a bit more than 254lbs and I think he jumps a wings. People will go over the 'max' on their parachutes to gain the better performance i.e. speed. Think of all the swoopers out their who are loading the canopies more than the manf. recommends. 9. you missed it dude. Didn't you hear I took first place? *no but really I've been bugging Jim about it and he hasn't answered shizer Na' Cho' Cheese
  10. We represent red bull pretty decently at our dropzone Na' Cho' Cheese
  11. I just spoke with Dave and he said they werent going to be there. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. Yeah in Europe the Nano's are popular. After being in the competition at Crystal mt. a few weeks back all the people with the bullets and nanos were having a hard time staying down with the slope. The only canopies that could compete were the skydiving canopies that were loaded over 2.0 Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. I'm hoping to get on a team for the event. Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. and reserves are designed so that they could be deployed in an un-stable body position. Think spring loaded pilotchutes, freebags and docile 7cell reserve canopies Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. Why? Why? What? how will someone ever know about it then? Granted you have a general idea. i.e. size, # of cells, material, etc. Why Not? agreed. answer mentioned from earlier posts. Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. Yeah dude I'm pretty much convinced the trim is all wacked. I'm going to send it in for a reline shortly. The reason I say its out of trim is I've jumped a few other FXes (88 99 115) they don't seem to have this problem at all. Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. Dude those are some of the coolest pics I've seen on this site. I would be honored to go freeflying in that rig. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. Well I'm also comparing it to a velo too. Which is a 7 cell right? Yep a seven cell(21). Of course the FX wouldn't have the same power on rear as say a xaos but I would expect the FX to have *some* simularities to a Velocity or perhaps even the 21 celled xaos. And no it hasn't collapsed on me yet but it just feel like it will if I use them. Turning high and obviously turning low and everything in between seems like the same tail fluttering affect. I will see if its out of trim. Na' Cho' Cheese
