It will be cold, and the weather and wind will make you wait this time of year. I know, I only have a couple of jumps to make before A and I am hoping the weather will work for me. It all depends on your desire level and if you can afford time to get out to DZ during the week as well as weekend. If you can get to DZ and make week jumps then GO FOR IT! A training jump or two a day minimum and you'll have it before snow flies!! Good luck and look for me!!

My ex was a jumper and my interest in it seemed to really turn him off. We broke up and I got into it but he keeps mentioning how he doesn't want me to get hurt. I think that's bull because he loves risk. Been fading off, losing contact & our friendship is basically over. I felt restricted and had to get away. I pursue the sport now on my own terms (3 more jumps til my A- yeah!!) and it'll be awhile before I have a serious relationship again. No matter what you're like and she's like, being supportive of what you both love should be there, 100%. It's who you are but it doesn't mean it's who she is. Let her be herself and love her for that as long as she doesn't try to restrict you or tell you what to do.

No, you'll be a jerk when you ruin your chances w/ ex forever and tear apart their trust and friendship in each other. My best friend hooked up w/ my other best friends ex. Now neither of them like or trust each other, can't stand to be around each other and I end up really uncomfortable around both of them. It sucks, your actions will effect a lot more than just you. The repercussions will go on and on and on...

Do something good for yourself today. Try to turn it around or call a symapthetic friend. Looks like yo have lots of them!! Hang in there.

I live in NYC and sometimes just go to museums & old bookshops & drink great coffee, get a massage & just pamper/ hang by myself. I do what I want to do & don't answer phone & take myself off of everyones' radar for awhile. I take a boat ride & just chill-reading a book too sometimes.
