  3. I've heard of that church. Aren't they the ones who have services every Sunday at 10 between 12 and 2? ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  4. This sure brings back memories! I made my first jump 33 years ago today. I became one of those frap hat wearing RW junkies as quickly as I could and had 600 jumps by the end of '85. Jumping a state of the art Mirage2 container with a Fury and a swift reserve. I still have my Mirage and it's still air worthy. Great movie of the way it was back then! At least the parts I can remember! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!

  7. I hope this one isn't already here. Do you know why lawyers are always buried 12 feet under? Because, deep, deep down lawyers really are good people! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  8. Congrats. Grandkids are something special. Don Thanks. We think he's pretty darned cute. Yep! Ladies beware! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  9. I like the 2nd one. It closely resembles a DC-3 which most folks can recall from war movies. Once it's colorized, how about a canopy or a jumper in freefall in the lower right? ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  10. I was about to answer this one before I decided it might be wiser to read to the end of the thread. We have a winner with this answer!!
  11. Another explanation may be what happened to me. Around 2000, I was at Dilliards (rip) in Minneapolis and after I swiped my Master Card with the fat limit the clerk asked me if I wanted a Dilliards card. It was instant approval with no application and I never gave it a second thought. 12 years later I return to the States after a 9.5 year stay overseas to find that I was living at an address in Illinois until 2005. It turned out that Dillards listed their corporate HQ as my address and it trumped my formerly current address without me knowing. Back then, checking credit online was not as sophisticated as nowadays. You said it was old. Have you ever gotten instant credit without filling out an application? Just one possibility. Good luck. ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!

  16. And I'm doing it again... I blame BIGUN Damn! I wasn't paying attention to the dates and was just about to respond when I saw the entry quoted above. One long & funny read! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  17. Awesome job making this a reality! Kudos to you and all the others who put in the hard work.
  18. Hey, Wendy. Here's am odd 'visit' for you. Has anyone ever accidentally visited a country? My first entry into France was an accident. I was driving from Germany to Switzerland and missed my southbound exit as I approached France. Next thing I knew I was flashing my passport and asking how to make a U-turn! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  19. I like the one at the bottom. His girlfriend's "room mate" didn't pay his rent? ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  20. Hey, Winsor. You and I are the only two with a trip to Iceland. I was gonna type them all in but only if I found no Iceland. Thanks for saving me the trouble.
  21. My first rig was a black Wonderhog with 3rings and was serial number 251. We had to call Bill Booth because the last number was fuzzy and ask him to match colors with blurry numbers. This happened around 1983. Was this rig one that was changed over to 3rings like described above? ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  22. You got that right! Down the drain is right where your money goes and that's no comfort. ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  23. I haven't started a new thread in ages. However, I couldn't pass this up. I've been looking for work and a job board sent me this totally unrelated employment opportunity. It sounds like a dirty thankless job! Seen any other 'Odd Jobs' lately? ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
  24. Hey, Cliff. Not bad! You beat my 82nd club best of 10 in one day. But did you beat my 2 day best of 18 from a Huey?
  25. I don't do the can but I've got a nice gas fired smoker and a secret rub. We do ribs, chickens, Thanksgiving turkeys, pork roasts, briskets. . . try the can you'll like the can. but the 1st rule of beer can chicken is open can pour 3/4 or a little more into a frosty cold glass. and drink it. I have seen idiots stick a whole beer up there. it's never going to boil and it's less stable. i have a couple of can holders but the best one is the cast iron one that holds two cans. nice and stable and it heats up and puts a nice sear on the back of the thighs In addition to my dry rub, I drink my can to just below a half and add some crushed garlic, a Tbs of worstishire sauce and a squirt of liquid smoke. Nice! ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!!
