    Switzerland

If you want to buy one, it's not that simple. You have to have insurance, pay taxes etc. But the best way to travel in Europe (incl. Switzerland...) is by public transportation. You can get anywhere you want this way. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  5. Of course I know that... I just wanted to post the pictures...
  6. My advice, don't listen to anyone who tells you a XF2 loaded 1.5 is fast. See enclose some pictures of my last landing with a XF2 loaded 1.5..
  7. Yes, but that is not what I found so extreme on Superterminal. I find Douggs filming skills much better then the air to air footage of ST. What I found extreme on the ST DVD is the tracking and WS Skills of the guys and not the filming. Again, just my opinion. But back to ethics; let's not highjack this very very very entertaining thread...
  8. Yes, parts of it is on the keen and able DVD. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  9. He said air to air. Subterminal is not air to air. What is so cool on douggs footage is the filming of someone tracking. In Subterminal the trackers are the kings but in Douggs footage he is the king for the incredible filming (my opinion...) Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

And I'm sure that someone that lives in Zurich can take you to Lauterbrunnen if you pay him some beers...

    No slider?

Wow, don’t get all exited. Everyone who was answering the slider question was giving good information in this thread. The once that went on about chute, parachute or canopy where just making some jokes. Who cares if it is a chute, a parachute or a canopy? What matters is that it opens and if possible on heading. Edit for spelling (and I'm sure I still missed a lot...) Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

    No slider?

No, I think PC is correct. It stands for pilot canopy...

  16. Do a search in this forum. You will find a lot of information regarding wl. It depends on how you are going to be jumping and what you feel good with. No one here (so I asume) will tell you to buy a canpoy with a specific wl Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  17. Fuck him and slam him as hard as you can. He did not contact the locals, and there is a growing number of Mexican BASE jumpers. He just burned the best B in Mexico to the ground. He could at least have talked to someone... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

You forgot that Switzerland is also going to play this time. We will beat you 2 : 1 in the semi final...
  19. Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you. English is not my first language… If you are good in backflying, it will help you coordinate your moves when you’re in headdown because you are already used to the visuals (everything is upside down). 20. I like your sign line...
  21. if it's a pin rig, I would not recommend a 4 second handheld any time. The risk of getting to much force on your bridle is very high... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  22. If you want to make the connection to freefly: Bellyflying helps you with your sit and backflying with your headdown. It's the same reversed movements. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch

    Slider Stops

Ask Tom A. He has cut a garden house and used it as slider bumpers for my canopy... :-) Works great, I like them better then the ones that came with my canopy. Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  24. Yeah, she's a fox. And she jumps the same wing load as I on my BASE Canopy... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
  25. Glad to hear this, it looked like a f**'ing hard impact... Michi (#1068) hsbc/gba/sba www.swissbaseassociation.ch www.michibase.ch
