Hey all...... A few of us are looking at starting a skydiving club. 1. What kind of insurance is needed and who in Ontario supplies this type of insurance... 2. What type of license is needed for a pilot to be aloud to let skydivers jump out. c-182 I'm sure we are over looking things, so if u could point us in the direction we need to be or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated... We are hoping in the long run to create a DZ, but figure for now it would be easier to start a skydiving club with the people around town who have a license and are current... I'm looking at 2 sets of used gear... 2004 icon with a 150 main and reserve and cypress and approx. 100 jumps 2003 racer with a 150 sabre 2 and a 160 reserve with a cypress and about 15 jumps on it,,,, the racer i can try on before i buy because its close by but the icon is too far away....but a refund is good for 10 days..... the price is within 400 bucks between the 2 with the racer being the cheaper one... so now what do u all think..... any and all imput would be appreciated..... thanks ============ Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - "fcuk me what a ride!"

Well I can't bring the book to my next base exit but once i get current again on the May long weekend, I will try and bring the book up on a otter load..... Anyone out there have experience with this camera.. My dad just baught one, so i'm hoping to use it one day.....when my jump numbers get higher of course.. Would a pencil camera work with this unit.... any help would be appreciated.... Pencil camera would be used for mountain biking this summer....to get a bit of practice and then when I'm snowmobiling next winter... The Giro helmet is just like the motorcycle and snowmobiling helmets out there.... Goto a after market shop for dirt bikes and snowmobiles... They have a wide range of helmets.... the helmets that look like the Giro are called Moto Cross helmets. Or at least that what my friends and I call them... Of course when we buy these helmets they need to be very snug on your helmet, otherwise they are use less when u crash and hit the dirt / snow..... I've watched alot of video's in base and skydive and I sure felt something watching that little clip.... I guess it show's that shit can really happen ..... As for your daughter, at least she came to u before attempting base..... Unbelievable......... I'm sitting in front of the laptop after a snowmobile accident yesterday where i received severe soft tissue damage to my right hand and forearm area.. My main concern with a camera now is for snowmobiling........and setting up a helmet cam.... As for skydiving I will make more jumps before I mount a camera to the side of my head.... I might try the helmet cam thing thou when skydiving if the instructor's from the summer think it is okay....
