  1. 1.19 here, probably going to grow in the comming months due to work and eventually northern weather not allowing me to get out to the DZ.
  2. Sorry I wasn't able to get out there. Glad y'all had a good time.
  3. NAUI licensed scuba diver. Try to get out at least once a year. I learned in New Jersey and have been down to St. Thomas & the Bahamas. I have yet to dive in Michigan, the water is just so cold. Certainly have more skydives than scuba dives. They are both great sports. Skydiving is just more accessible.
  4. Liz, I guess I must be a nice guy since you constantly call me gay.
  5. :3:1 3 freefly jumps at Tecumseh, last one I had a mal. Beer owed for first cut away. What a rush. Not really wanting it to happen again.
  6. Glad you knew what we were doing, I totally forgot about that. Gotta love the beer and mixed drinks. Great to meet the DZ.com crew.
  7. Other balloon/van, Paula was on my load, but ended up riding with you guys after landing in the cemetary. I was a little shocked that the cemetary workers were so casual when we asked if they saw her: "yep, she landed right over there about 5 minutes ago and jumped in a van with a trailer." I was right there with you guys, jumped out of the balloon with Paula and watched her do a low turn to land it in the cemetary. Man that was a long ride to chase a balloon we never got to. Great jumping with you guys.
  8. Soooo many favorite parts. Skydiving has to be 2 balloon jumps, the bi-plane and the 2,750 ft hop and pops out of the PAC750XL. Oh wait, can't forget the ?raft? jump out of the sky van. The whole load was hosed as the pilot did a high-speed pass. The raft was toast on exit. Non-skydiving, hanging out at the Hell Fish tent on Tuesday night listening to acoustic music performed by John Walker, HF#5 then proceeding to the entertainment tent where we blew up beach balls and tossed them into the crowd. Just makes you feel proud to be a Hell Fish! Of course hanging out with old friends and making new ones was a great thing. I can't wait for next year.
  9. Knee lock exit whild holding onto each others shoulder straps. Just hold on as long as you can, ie till the G's pull you apart. It is just ground, sky, ground, sky. After letting go, you will be flung apart from each other, but what a great exit.
  10. Michigan looks OK on Sunday. Saturday looks questionable. Guess Saturday may be a drinking day.

    Toasts

I am a bit bored at work today and wanted to start a list of toasts from around the world. They can be one word to funny quips. Lets grow the list - Cheers - Prost - She offered her honor, I honored her offer and all night long I was on her and off her.
  12. Can't see the video from work, but I was so drunk this weekend I couldn't figure out how my sleeping bag worked. Finally gave up and crashed on top of it.
  13. I would suggest trying to team up with Fuel TV, a station dedicated to alternative sports. They regulary show short clips (20 minutes or so) of skateboarding, skiing, snow boarding, wake boarding, surfing etc. I have not seen skydiving or base jumping on there yet, so there may be a chance to talk with them. See www.fuel.tv
  14. :4:1 3 sitfly jumps, one coached by Sporto, one tracking dive. 100th jump beer paid for the tracking dive. Couldn't have had a better day for my 100th. Live music, friends and beer what a great night.
  15. Dinner & a quiet evening at home with my girlfriend. Wuffo or not, she rocks.
  16. I would say the biggest carryover from skydiving for me is the ability to totally relax in stressful situations. Work used to stress me the hell out, but now I just ensure I have done everything I could to be prepared and find myself absolutely relaxed. Who knows, this behavior will either help my career or get me fired.
  17. You read my mind on this one. I think everyone should bring the hokey-pokey music out to your DZ this weekend and play a little.
  18. Welcome to the boards Christina!
  19. I would have to go with "Behind Blue Eyes" by the Who.
  20. *walks to the very back of the line* *gets to the front of the line* *returns to the back of the line* Jason, Going back for seconds? You bastard. When you throw the ball up that high it is really hard not to spike it back at you. *walks far away from Wrongway since he is getting near the front of the line again*
